In my honost opinion, I think Halo 2 was a great game, don't get me wrong. But WTF is up with the ending?! can anyone say GAYEST.ENDING.EVAR. But the multi player is very improved. I only dislike the dual wielded Needlers, they are a bit un balanced. I must go back to my LAN party will be AFK for about 2 weeks also. I have some family business to take care of.

I didn't mind reading spoilers, and read that it was a crappy disappointing ending, and that the campaign and story itself were less than exceptional. So, I'm glad I didn't preorder it.

I'll play it on my roommates' copy when he brings it home from NOVA this weekend.

Actually, I thought the story line was pretty good. It's nothing as groundbreaking as the 1st, but the 2nd part of a triology is usually the weakest..

It's not ... the ending sux everywhere I've read it; basically I've read that it is a great, fantastic game with a horribly shitty story/ending (at least comparatively).

I dont have the game yet since im on vacation, but I was talking to the BellBoy at the hotel here...And He said that he was playing with his lil brother and it was on Vertical split screen, and They couldnt find out how to change it.

So they called some kind of help line, that has a bunch of people who basically play the game all day every day, and the guys said that they didn't know how to change it to horizontal either...

Oh well...

yes I live in the US, and it is Horizontal.

Needler DW good? Not really. Just side step them, circle around. It takes 1-2 clips to kill 1 brute on normal. Needlers are not very good. And tehy havn't been improved much from the first game. 9 needles in a body to kill them. Same as before.

and considering I can drop a brute in about 3 shots on legendary with a Cov. Carbine.. not worth it.

But if anybody can tell me HOW IN GOD'S GREEN EARTH i'm supposed to take down 3 or so reg elites.. 2 SUPER elites with DUAL PLASMA RIFLES, AND A FRICKEN GOLD ELITE WITH A SWORD.. AT ONCE, I would be obliged.

Of course i refer to the 1st level on legendary... which is impossible to do..

yeah, normal can get pretty hard, i'm still 2 level away from legendary.
