i play eldar and it seems unpossible to stop a sm that use alot of asm and some scouts to back them up...
even if i succed to stop him he alread got vehicles and then i dead.
some1 know how to stop this? coz nothing seems to work.
if i tech to prisems,vypers,falcons i have no def and he comes and killes me if i kep building more aspect i lose coz snipers, asm and fc will kill every aspect...

welcome to the world of "eldar is overpowered Sm is weak". Just be grateful its not HB tacs+snipers+asm.

I can offer you a number of "counters" but all of them come down to luck with 0 skill ingredient except that you'll counter if the sm player is dumb.

4 concealed guardians with plasma, accuracy and entangle alongside a spider squad win it unleess people abuse the fact entangle is useless vs jump troups.

build soul shrine - look in your HQ and see an icon with the word plasma on it? And then another - "grenade"

yup uni, ASM + snipers seem to omfgpwn us eldar.

this is where combined arms with guardian core come into play. You can beat it. Its insanely hard but doable.

Also shuriken and falcons are your friends most sm players will ignore guards and go for aspects first so attach a shuriken to a warlock concealed guard - shuriken gains warlocks +20% AND is concealed in addition to being protected by the squad and unlikely to de first.

One spider is a must vs sm for now due to the cheezy scouts.

A rush more powerful than any other in game and a rush that beat up on a bugged council back in the day and people still think its ok.

Dow intelligence:

Chaos>Eldar>Ork>SM

chaos winning the first place because they are so damn sly, devious, and able to justify possessed its impressive.
