hey folks,

This is aimed at Dark and furious really i think. i can blitz the two of you through wailing caverns tonite - you wont get any experience from killing the rats in there because they are 12 levels below me, but you will get alot of good drops and you will get the quest experience. which should amount to atleast a level i think... not too mention the quest rewards which are super. feel free to bring along two other people with you.

I have a couple of rules however...

You will not roll on anything that you cannot use/will never be able to use. (its ok to roll on something that you can use in a couple of levels).

You will not roll on anything that you can use but wont. ie: preists can use daggers but a rogue will use a dagger. UNLESS the dagger is one that gives say.. 'plus 6 to healing spells' or something like that. And warriors can use cloth but rolling for it 'coz it has sta +4' and your a twat...

You will not loot while anyone is fighting. ATALL! EVER! nothing is more anoying that a ninja looter.

If noone in the group needs something - and you should all know hwo needs what - then FFA on the roll.

Normally i would also mention that you should be able to play your class. ie: mages shouldnt nuke madly drawing to much aggro. warriors should be in the correct stance/etc to draw aggro, preists(or who ever is primary healer) shouldnt waste mana nuking stuff, save it to heal. and pet classes should control there bloody pets!!! dont let them rush into a mob. . etc etc... however i will be killing everything tbh. It will be important for your survival in there to stay behind me and let me draw out the mobs if you are under lvl 19. Instances are all about knowing your class and team playing.

If you break the looting, i dont care who you are - i will kick you from the group. Nothing is more annoying than questing with someone who loots everything while the rest of a group is fighting... (had a rough group last nite :( )

ANYWAY. 6.30pm tonite for who is coming, outside the WC entrance. if your too late - i wont have time to finish it with you, i have to go out at 8.30.

and when we see a chest press '/random 100' highest roll gets first crack at the chest, second highest second etc...

I'm sure you all know this anyway - but bad habbits can be picked up by playing with bad ppl and also just so you let anyone you bring along know =]

Final Edit: If you draw agro and you need help then shout, and quikly. but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAND STILL! i cant run any faster than you and the mobs will not stop chasing you. if you run, i wont be able to catch the thing chasing you and youll die...

I hate looting during battle but it sometimes happens when there are multiple dead mobs and I'm trying to target a new one standing in the pile, instead of targeting, I'll bend over and loot....fuckin' annoying as all hell, the damn roll window pops up and really confuses things for a second or 2...then I feel like a freakin' jackass. I usually cycle for closest target, but like last night in "Drunken" Temple, you have to click on elites that are surrounded by the spam'lings....DOH! LOL. Never had a wipe because of it though.

Almost had a wipe last night, though, when Lard was *feared* directly into another group of mobs, lol, that was hilarious, I saw the symbol proc, then watched as he ran STRAIGHT into the other group, lmao. I hate fear/intimidation...

Thank god for Hel's feign death.

battle loot does happen by accident.

battle loot on blue BoP boss loot...

...

happens by accident but if it's the second time? pfff. people need time to think about their blue loots.

all the rules are great but understand mistakes happen and don't be super rigid about it. Only the priest has the moral authority to group kick people in the dunjon:D.
Also in the later game when you are slicing and dicing 10 mobs at a go, the body piles and clusterfuckage make battle looting more likely by accident especially when gay druids cast teh stormcloud and you can't see shit. <3

Lol, theres nothing worse than ppl rolling on BoP items they dont need... WTF?! a Shaman rolled on a DEATHSTRIKER!!! KILL HIM!!! RES HIM!!! KILL HIM!!! RES HIM!!! KILL HIM SLOWLY AND LEAVE HIS BODY TO ROT!!!

Oh I may accidentally battle loot, but at least I don't roll on shit I don't need, so that makes up for it :)

Battle Looting and THEN rolling on shit you know you're not supposed to. That's INSTAKICK!

I was doing a [35] Rig Wars last night in the gnome city with a group. And every one was looting everything, i swear i came out with nothing. our group was

three rogues 28(me) 31 and 33
warrior 33 (quite good at holding aggro, which is rare)
preist 28

The other two rogues were fucking useless. they didnt stealth and if i sapped something they just hit it and broke the daze. we were constantly on the verge of wipe outs and were only saved by some very good preist skills, fighting 4-6 mobs at a time - it was a stuggle but quite fun. We would have done alot better but the other two rogues were looting everything, before the mobs even hit the ground!!!! and everyone was rolling on everything - i just couldnt be bothered - i was only in it for the quest reward and hopefully a good dagger. The GL was one of those lucky fucks who won EVERY roll - but such is life, nothing you can do there - no one rolled for chests and holonda or whatever his name was. 33 rogue and GL would disapear from a fight to loot a chest. The group fell apart when the warrior rolled and won a pair of BoP Blue cloth boots 'because it has 4+ sta' and the preist through a fit (i dont blame him) then the afore mentioned rogue rolled and won on blue mace or something and the preist just said fuck you guys, im going home - and i dont blame him.

we were in that instance for near 2 hours and didnt finish it because of fighting and looting and shit. not to mention two rogues higher level than me who were doing half the damage i was coz they didnt use stealth attacks and were too busy looting to attack.

Ok i screwed up the other day when we all did the Scarlet monestary. THree of the people in our group (lard one of them) had said they wanted some necklace that one of the bosses dropped. So we were playing for like an hour. When the necklace came up i instictivly clicked on roll (since it was something i could use) then right after i did it i went "SHIT! THATS THE ONE THEY WERE HERE TRYIING TO GET!" then hoped i would not win it. and i did...uggg i still feel like shit about that one.

you shouldn't, ebev... the triune amulet is very yawn. I had mine for all of 2 days until I got the shimmering pendant of myzrael or whatever it is.Everyone should be accepting of mistakes, except when somebody has named their desired drop ahead of time, because then you just wasted their time. Are you sure somebody was jonesing for that?

Wolv told me later that he had wanted the amulet :(

I remeber my first SM run, i rolled on a blue sword, I didn't know about the adds that came from the guy we killed and I was running around in circles just clicking and I ended up winning...very nice sword, too bad i couldn't use it. But bad rolls happen to everyone. :(
