Need I remind you Halo and Halo 2 on X-Box support a usb mouse for "perfect" aim. And the X-Box isnt for failures its for those of us that enjoy the obvious perks of a console system. (I need not list them) and like to be able to save games, and music without a memory card, who wanted more graphical and processor performance than the PS2 AND who like to play it online with X-Box Live. PLUS for the money it was a WAY better buy than a pc for gaming power and performance. Our comp here at home cost us $2400 brand new at about the same time the X-Box came out and im sure that the X-Box at $200 was a better buy. 14 X-Boxs worth of power would surely outdo my computer.

But my main point of buying it was No Bombing to desktop, no other background programs slowing shit down, 4 people can play on one X-Box head to head, and I have 2 plasma TVs side by side split down the middle coming from one X-Box output so each side of the split-screen is as big as a small-mid size TV. (if you want to know the hardware and setup I use to do this just p.m. me otherwise your tech-minded enough to figure it out yourself) Oh and I could only find like 2 title at the time that I liked for PS2. And the only one I can remember is Ace Combat 4. The X-Box just had cooler titles and a bigger more "hand-filling" and comfortable controller. Plus I hate the PS2s analog controllers placed side by side fuckes with me and their pressure sensitive buttons are almost impossible to get the right amount of pressure to like say Zoom out my map in Ace Combat 4 and 5. I say if you need something with pressure sensitive controls just get a flight stick with throttle or a racing wheel with gas, brake, and clutch. (I hated Gran Turismo A-Spec with just full gas and no gas and the same on the brake, the pressure sensitive buttons were terrible for this they made the gas and brake jump.)

on X-Box a Usb Mouse and the directional pad is the ultimate control for 1st person shooters. Just like the mouse and keyboard (god I love sniping people out of the Banshees and wraiths.)

consoles suck compared to pc's, and the xbox is just a wanna be pc and chunky mp3player, i hated the orogional old xbox controllers for being hige just to fit that ugly green x on it, thank fuck they shrunk them donw a bit, but you cant custom key a multibutton mouse on a ps2 or xbox usb

and pc's are better, most costly yes, but better

Yeah okay I played the game and it totally sucks tiny banana ass..
The story is just plain bs.
It's all like, omg another Halo! Let's infiltrate it AGAIN.
Then you keep beating aliens off their Ghosts.
And then you have problems switching guns because
you run out of ammo every minute or so.
That's why they introduced Duel Weapons.
Oh dear, isn't that jolly!
You always end up with guns you don't want.
It's not what I expected it to be, I really expected a top notch game.

The "Only on Xbox" thing doesn't mean the game only exists on the xbox, just that it has some features that only the xbox version will have. This could be anything including but not limited to: a hidden level, weapon, movie, etc.

And yes FPS are always much better on pc, but I prefer consoles for fighters.

My Xbox stopped workign on only Halo 2 and it screwed it up. Not sure whats goin on.

I have played Halo 2. SMGs do run out of ammo quick, but there are so many other weapons around it doesn't matter.

The weapons overall are awsome. I don't like the pistol. But the other weapons are nice. You get to use soem nice vehicles. And boarding a Wraith tank, beating out the hatch, then droping a grenade in. That is awsome. Especially after you take it from them afterwards.

It has a lot to offer. I am highly enjoying it. The graphics are good. The AI is great. I highly reccomend it. Befroe you go into 'This game sucks! This game RoXx0rZz!!!11one'

I prefer console games. There are some good computer games out there, but many you can't get on pc. If You like it on pc, it's almost the same on xbox. I like controlers. A mouse just feels weird when you play consoles all the time lol.

I say get the game. It is the best FPS I've seen so far. The changes from Halo-Halo 2 are small in in-significant. The health system is changed, so what. The pistol was changed, they said it was broken before anyway. It is a great game, and with the downloadable content it will be better and better.

got it november 8th (Seattle Trip Music Evolution Bungie Contests) Won a master chief statue, ate lots of pizza, got halo 2 halo 2 sound track and halo 2 strategy guide from a raffle ticket, enjoyed more pizza, beat some newbs and pros at halo 2, died 45 times and killed 201 in a special tournament alone with 4 team slayer teams and i was all by myself (having everyone as a target is alot easier to get kills) Beat game on november 9th 5:03 PM Eastern on Legendary, saw secret spolier halo 1's was the elite and human hugged, i will not spoil it for you. Have fun with yourselfs

the battle rifle is great, but if you don't like burst mode you'll hate it b/c that's all it does, you can zoom in 2x and sniper with if you're good. As for the carbine, it's about the same as the battle rifel as far as zoom goes and also damage delt but it's only a laser beam like the beam rifle.

bentusi, i consider myself quite a skilled FPS player, but legendary is in-fucking-credible. and if you say you are past like level 4, i probably wont believe you. i have spent like 10 hours on the 1st level alone and cannot get past this ONE fucking part. they just keep coming out of the fucking boarding tube and i stand on the bridge shooting the elites with headshots, but soon i completely run out of ammo and grenades after about the 19th board. but yea, DJ, have what you want. i have a hot ass pair of logitech wireless XBox controllers, and the most comfy black leather recliner ever, plus i can actually sit on the couch next to my friends, eat pizza, drink beer together, and enjoy some good face to face slayer games. so if you say console gaming doesnt have its perks, you are insane. and bentusi, if you can beat the game on legendary, i hail you ask a god, and ask you for some fucking help. my pride will not let me switch to heroic again.

All the weapons are good smgs are most used their basically as strong as assualt rifles

Some updates i have found that their releasing a patch to coordinate and maybe get less players allowed so the 64 may be removed it could create extreme lag, a modification is needed for the xbox to allow 4 players to create as one theirs some really good levels in there flood is hard i suggest you get an energy sword and dual wield a smg and brute plasma rifle
