ARGH!!! MICROSOFT I HATE YOU!!!

I have had Halo 2 preordered since august last year...

I got it at 12:01 am Nov 9th...

My Xbox worked fine until then...

Now it won't read my Halo 2 or my friends, which both work on his...

It says I need to have mine serviced, that the disk is dirty, or it will load for a bit then freeze...

It has really upset me becasue I've had a bad week and I got off 3 days from work to paly this game.

Why is this happening to me?

I need sympathy or something. What can I do until tommorrow when they will have another Xbox at Hastings and i can get it traded in since ove only have my box for 3 weeks.

Problem? Halo 2 requires the new xbox cd drive or it will crash in about 2 days since the old cd drive doesnt have the right optics for loading all the information at the speed the cd is requiring

I bought my Xbox when they came it, it runs Halo 2 absolutely fine

The problem resides in the Disk Reader. The readers are coded for different regions. If you get a reader coded for say. . .Russia, and you get a halo 2 game coded for the US region, it won't work. It cost S&H and about 6 weeks to send off the xbox and get your disk reader recoded.
