Here's a random question.

Mine's Sno-caps can't stop nibbling on them.

most chocolate is mixed with wax... so you have to buy it from a place that actually makes the stuff themselves... otherwise, it WILL be mixed with wax... they do that so it doesn't melt as easily... bite into the real thing and you know the difference right away.

it's true... sometimes you can actually see a layer of it...

and they don't to put it in the ingredients... cause it's not a food item or something...

my Favourite is Aztec Gold... hehe... there other Aztec Gold stuff I like too... and it Starts with a H and ends in ash

they do list it in the US... they just don't call it "wax"... it goes by some other name which is as specific as it is obscure. They rarely have it layered either... that would defeat the purpose... they usually mix it in evenly to hold the structure of the chocolate bar...

tough question for a belgian but i would say

-côte d'or
http://www.cotedor.com/

-leonidas

as far as i am aware of without any wax , they are even standing up against the european union to keep the chocolat pure

"
On 3 August 2003, a European Directive came into effect authorizing the use of vegetable fats (instead of cocoa butter) in the manufacture of chocolates, albeit under certain very stringent conditions. This Directive caused considerable controversy among manufacturers and consumers. However LEONIDAS’s position on this issue has always been very clear and simple: LEONIDAS does not use vegetable fats other than cocoa butter in either its chocolates or its fillings. Hence the statement «LEONIDAS is indeed 100% pure cocoa butter... and 100% quality», true now more so than ever."

sorry tanko, but even the belguim chocolate is nothing in comparison with real swiss chocolate.....!!! :lol: some years back i was working in a office for a transportation company, i was doing export belgium and netherland and some belgium guys were sending us those belguim pralines or however they are called in english...... we had lots of them, but noone eating them :lol:

i have to admit that i like chocalate pretty much and i tried alot of different types of chocolate, but if there is one thing switzerland does better than anyone else it has to be chocolate.....!

I mean, you can see the surface stuff peeling away sometimes... not that's it's got an outerlayer coating thing going...

AH HAH! Caranuba WAX!! I'm sure the spelling is wrong... but that's in alot of chocolate bars and stuff...

I've had that stuff... quality to be sure... the only way to get anything near that quality in the US is to buy from local candy shops that make it themselves... such places often are just as good in my humble opinion... though none of them sell outside of their own small shops.

oh, yeah... there is that kind of white flaky shit around bars sometimes... but yeah, they do that to keep them from melting... real chocolate will just about melt around room temperature... at least LA room temperature... :)

Truffles and Reece's Peanut Butter Cups (they're semi-chocolate).

I don't eat much chocolate or candy, though.

I dont really care if its waxed or not, Sno-caps is just good and if you must know pure cocoa beans could be found anywhere in the Philippines so I've already tasted and have been eating "real" chocolate for the past 18 yrs.

Justice

Interesting concept ...

Probably not literal, as chocolate doesn't have teeth. Maybe Mistress can't resist it when she eats chocolate, and she eats so much of it she gets really really sick ...

...

Clarify, Karmapoop.

Prove to me that chocolate can exist as an intelligent entity in that form.

Justice

Pictures sometimes aren't realistic.

Like,

These cartoons may represent people, but these people never existed in real life, nor would they ever exist separate from their representations on a piece of paper.

I hate chocolate because it looks, tastes, and smells like shit, and makes me feel gross.

You boys either forget, or never knew that I'm a competitive boxer, and health is a priority. ;) Never drank, never smoked anything, working out everyday since I was 20 or so...

Chocolate = nasty

Tomboy = yes. :)
