ok im off out in an hour. i want to laid one last time before i start playing wow and become a hopeless geek :oohoo::agree:

So here is what i need you guys to agree on.

1. A server or a way of picking a server. So that we can all log on asap and play together. Mine will be stats Ravage; a list of names u and ur folks will be using would be much appreciated.

2. A list of names to be contacted in game.

3. The name for a chat channel so we can create on asap (lard - how do we create one?)

4. Who is going to do what profession.

So far we have three engeneers, and one alchemist. We need a blacksmith leather worker, tailorer and an enchanter. (did i miss any?)

Money is going to be tight in the first few days - so we are going to have to work together to provide eachother with what we need. Don't charge eachother - and for the more leucrative professions such as mining and skinning - help out the less so. such as enchanters.

kelpy, i suggest you do your best to find out the NP server and help us avoid it. I vote we pick the second uk pvp server (alphabetically.)

I also think when we get online. provided we have the 16-20 of us it looks like. We should hold off on recruiting till we have learned to work together and know eachothers game.

We ARE going to hit alliance on sunday - full force, no matter what our level and on monday, on the blizz boards, i want to here alot of ppl saying omfg!!! we just got zomgwtfownedbbqchiken by those guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORDE IS OVER POWERED. NERF NERF! etc... are you with me?

I look forward to seeing you all tommorow!!! <3

My recommendation on enchanting:

Anyone who wants to do it, start off with skinning or other gathering profession. When financially secure, rapidly skill up the enchant. Most newbie enchants are Utterly Worthless for making income, perhaps a novelty to inflict on guildmates, but nothing great. However, enchanting can really be rags to riches when over 200 finally, I have had several days with 40g of gross revenue so far. Enchanting can be skilled up to 80 through disenchants alone also FYI.

Tailoring is a fine combo with enchanting, so perhaps somebody can start with skinning-tailoring and transit to enchant-tailoring.

-edit-
All the channel control commands are here (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/slashcommands.html). Make one, make yourself mod, take control etc, then tell others to add to it. This can be used for a guild alliance or sub-guild chat. I think guild chat is largely sufficient.

Ok, well I have heard from a buddy that alot of ultima online players (PvP) will join a server.. the first one that startswith an L. "oki" I said.. thats not much to go on, I know.

And on the Enchanting, My opinion is that go for Skinning/tailoring. then when your like lvl25 or so... go for enchanting.

Idont really know How we will organise this. I have heard that the servers will be up tonight. If thats the case.. im gonna join one ASAP, and then tell you guys what server I join. Feel free to join me there or do as you please ;)

To be honest, I think we have done this a lilttle bit late.

That guild is "Sun". They will indeed be starting with the Letter L.

We will avoid them.

Dont take Alc and herbalism they are worthless untill you hit lvl 300.

If you want to be rich take mining and skinning and just sell resources, because then you can buy everything you need, rather than spending 2 hours gathering herbs for 3 potions that will go when you are dead.

There is absolutly no reason from alc/herb. Even for rogues.

One aside on enchanting.

The classes that can stealth through instances, on the Alliance side: druid and rogue, are able to farm instances for soulbound boss drops. These can be disenchanted, and sold for good prices on our server at least. Consider a engineer/enchant rogue, starting with a mining for gathering and money and then a transition.

If you want money fast then i suggest a simple gatherer like me... take up mining/skinning, skinning/herblore, mining/herblore etc. The money at the begining is great and ive always be able to afford the best. If you save ALL your iron as soon as you can mine it for steel at a higher level cause im selling 20 steel bars at the AH for 3gp+ per 20. Start auctioning leather when you get to medium and put a B/O of 15s.
