Did a complete 'hard' Format. Installed a new 200GB SeagateSATA@7200rpm, then went about installing all the neccesary stuff. Antivirus etc.... Here is the crux of my problem.

Since the install. I keep losing my connection I go good for about 13 mins then bLaM ! Like when I post a long thread bOoM ! This page does not display. I suspect I need knew drivers for my EtherNet Card. OK I need to do this is installments ( no pun intended ) as if it gets too long I will lose the connect. Again *sigh*....

so its an ethernet card that's built in you motherboard right? You should have an installation CD for it when you got the motherboard or system. If you didn't tell me what model your motherboard is then I'll link you to the specific driver you need.

Sorry if I'm asking too many details.

Wasn't it p4s533? All the drivers are available at http://www.asus.com/support/download/download2.aspx?item=p4s533&type=like&file_type=All

Assuming of coarse I can keep a connection long enough to DL anything bigger than a MB. I will give it another whirl.

So kraft this thing has onboard lan right? Try going to the device manager and uninstalling the driver for the lan. Then restart your comp and get ur mobo cd out and reinstall it. If that doesn't do it give us some details about what happens to the comp after you've lost the connection. Does the comp act funny afterwards or anything? Or is it just the internet itself.

PS Abyss no just the connection would go down. Get those messages that the page cannot be displayed. Not weird at all , as a fact at first thought it was my isp.
