Something for you techy guys to solve for me.

I've been trying to test the free alternative to Xbox Live!

www.xbconnect.com

The problem i'm having is .........

for it to work the xbconnect program has to find/locate my xbox which is connected to the pc, having tried to do this, I find out it can't find it because i need to alter my settings or create a bridge between my network adaptor and main Broadband connection.

The setup i'm trying to make is 'Setup D' in the following link;

http://www.xbchelp.com/network/

In the step by step in the Setup D section is says something about using winICS something i haven't a clue about but this is where i come to a dead end, I tried to follow this tutorial that the 'setup D' section linked me to;

http://www.practicallynetworked.com/Article.asp?aid=11&p=2

However i do as it says but i keep getting an error message but no reason why the error has occurred?

Any idea's whats wrong or what im doing wrong?

holy shit
winICS = crap
you will save yourself an unfathomable amount of pain by going with setup a or b (i'd use b)

this is the router i have (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=33-127-013&depa=0), which works well enough to do everything you need it to, and only $33
