My main raiding character's name is Bblgumgramps. (bubbagum is my very poorly funded alt) I'm not a very experienced player when it comes to old content because I started playing the game shortly before WotLK came out.
I am ashamed to say that throughout WotLK I have been through quite a few guilds. I enjoy progression but I do not like the mentality of any guild I have been in. In my gaming experience I value quality and friends more than anything so when a guild becomes full of drama or players compete between eachother more than try to down a boss I lose interest in playing with them.
Today I was told by one of the HotC members that he liked what he saw of my performance and would like me to apply. After I learned more about the friendly and social qualities of the guild I was sold.
My name is Tylor. I am a senior in high school and trying to get into a four year university. WoW is just one of my hobbies but I take my hobbies seriously. (I've also played drums for 5 years.)
I've had my share of hard mode content in Ulduar, alot of it with Clarity (Tooths, another applicant was tanking it all btw).

This is just some basic info about me, I will be talking to all of you and hopefully playing with some of you soon to get to know you all better.

bubblegum is a decent guy was in heart of redemption with me a while back left for some of the same reasons i did i assume. good guy to play with saime had a good exp with him least thats what he told me. when ive raided with him he does perty well for someone who hasent played wow long. i dont mean to say he sux he does perty well any way my 2c give the guy a chance.

I had the chance to play with Bblgumgramps in ToC 25 today. The guy impressed me. High DPS and low amount of time kissing dirt. I don't know him very well but i suggested he app. Lets start the process and get to know you.

In the little time that I did talk with him he seemed a nice, mature person and genuinely interested in becoming part of HotC, not just in raiding with us.

Bblgumgramps, our app process can be longer than most. I encourage you to stick it out. It is worth it. Say hi in /hotchat and track down Theroc, Anilyn, or Mikevbrandt in game. Also feel free to chat in the shoutbox. It is pretty dead except for midday during the week, but stop in and say hi if you get a chance.

Usually I try to keep my grammar correct while typing because I am in the process of typing my personal statements. When I get in the habit of typing sloppily it makes grammar and spell check take a long time.

I don't think your grammar was terribly incorrect in the above post. I think when people don't see double spacing in between paragraphs, the information just becomes harder to read.

That being said, there were probably a few commas you missed. I believe the grammar police will let that slide :)

I apologize. After reading the required thread for applicants and speaking with Saime, I was under the impression that this application was more about personality and getting to know people. I figured you would all see my class and gear in raid.

Most of his raid achievements are from the beginning hard modes of ulduar.

The gear I have now is all from ToC pugs and leftover ulduar gear I haven't been able to replace.

in the process of gemming for haste
My raid experience while healing started just before ToC came out so I haven't bothered with ulduar.

This gear is anything I can pick up in pugs.

His initial application was fine. I am not too lazy to copy and paste his name into armory, and he looked to be intelligently specd. I also spoke with Bblgum in game, was happy with the conversation overall, and I was generally pleased with what I heard from raiders who were in the 10-man with him last night.

I ran bbl through a heroic OK with the bot army. He made it seemless, and out dps'd the chubot by a nice margin (although having my fishing rod equipped my have skewed my results a bit).

Just tossing it out there for the record however, bbl - good guy.

had the emense pleasure of raiding TOC 10 man with bubble the last couple of nights. great dps etc got along very well with everybody, even helped the 10 man get its first Heroic Beasts kill.
