I realize that you're not currently recruiting tanks, but I do consider myself to be an exceptional player and figured it couldn't hurt. I used to raid with Lucilyna and Anilyn, and hope that will stand me in good stead. My offspec is retribution and I have a geared warlock I'd be willing to play.

The thing that I'm looking for is a group of people with whom to enjoy the game. This means officers who treat raiders with respect, and raiders who are capable and willing to put in effort.

I have extensive raiding experience prior to Wrath, which doesn't mean much except to say that I am a veteran of the Superbowl of Not Standing in Shit. My recent experience is all of Ulduar 25 except Algalon, including a lot of hard modes. I've been playing only casually for the last couple months, so my experience with TotC is limited to attempts the first night and having read strats.

For ease: paladin's armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dalaran&n=Dumuzi); warlock's (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dalaran&n=Kristo). I have one set of tank gear based around block value for threat on trash & easy encounters, another with stamina & hit for bosses, and a several odds & ends for AoE and gimmicks. I maintain full sets of gemmed & enchanted gear for both retribution and holy. On my warlock, I've probably logged in my soloing gear; I have a set with hit cap and all rare spellpower gems for raids. Through my various alts, I have grand masters in every profession except leatherworking & skinning.

I am of adult age and generally sarcastic wit. My connection is decent. I'm unemployed, so the raid schedule is fine.

Before it comes up: pronounce the character's name MOOzee. Dumuzi was a Babylonian god of the cycle of life, with domains that included fatherhood, harvest, and beer. His wife, Inanna, was the goddess of passion, including love, war, and blow jobs.

If there's anything else you'd like to know please ask.

Hey Dumuzi, been a long time. Back in the early BC days, Dumuzi was one of the Off-Tanks for Nullus Secundus. Performed very well. He also played his lock very well if ever needed.

Thanks for your application and welcome to the application process.

Because we look for members who will be happy for "life" (in the WoW sense) in HotC, and we take a lot of time to evaluate applicants as needed. We want to make sure those we take in will be happy here, and that it will be a good fit for all involved.

For HotC, the application process rests in the hands of the applicant. The process takes some patience and a bit of persistence. Join "hotchat" in game and even get in on some runs with us.

The shoutbox on our forums can also be a good place to chat with other members (most activity is during the day, you know when people are suppose to be doing their jobs, but on the shoutbox instead :)). Other things you may want to do is chat with Mikevbrandt (guild leader) or myself and just get in touch with our membership as a whole.

Try to be available on our raid nights (Wednesday and Sunday), and send MvB a forum PM if you will be available so he can put you down on the roster as space allows.

Thanks for your application and good luck.

Hello Dumuzi,

Welcome to the fairly dormant HotC application boards. While it may seem fairly dead on the outside, our private forums are still very active (and we're not totally asleep at the wheel).

Perhaps this isn't a public question to ask, but I was curious what your reason for leaving Ascend was. You had mentioned becoming a more casual player recently (which aligns more with our schedule than theirs), but I wasn't sure if this was the justification for the application or not.

Basically, everything Luci said is all you need to know. The application process requires persistence, but the end result is getting into a great guild with good people and low turnover. I just passed the 3.5 year mark myself, and I'm nowhere near the most veteran player still on our raid roster.

Anyway, feel free to get in touch with Lucilyna, Mikevbrandt, Corb, Anilyn, myself, or any of our other officers/players/whomever. See you around in game and good luck with your application!
