While musing through the points of my gk allied guard variant army, I built the following list ... strikes me as almost MORE fluffily inquisitorial than a Daemonhunter list.

Idea is that Inquisitor whosisnuts (represented by a Primaris Psyker) with some Grey Knights and access to inquisitorial stormtroopers would naturally requisition transport from his fleet attachments prior to an insertion (if not using grey knight teleportation).

Hence ...

HQ (2/2):
Inquisitor Whosisnuts (Primaris Psyker) - 70 points

Allied Grey Knight Brother Captain - 61 points
Retinue - 5 Grey Knight Terminators w/ Incinerator - 245 points

Troop (4/6):
10 Grey Knights, Including Justicar w/ Frag Grenades & Knight w/ Incinerator - 286 points
10 Grey Knights, Including Justicar w/ Frag Grenades & Knight w/ Incinerator - 286 points
10 Inquisitorial Storm Troopers (Veteran Guardsmen) w/ Grenadiers Doctrine, 3 Meltaguns - 130 points

Fast Attack (3/3):

25pts and grenades aren't included...
Ridiculous.

Primaris = 70pts as does the Lord Commissar.

Gives you 7 pts under... maybe a MB on one SGT?

What exactly does the Primaris do for ya in this list?
Shooting or the LD test?

It's a pure fluff list ... he's there b/c you can't really have an inquisitorial strike force with fleet support if you don't have an inquisitor. Primaris Psyker is an excellent counts as inquisitor, just as the grenadier vets are excellent counts as stormtroopers.

The second one loses a lot, even on the fluff level.

The models ARE awesome. The rules are tough.

I think if you dropped the 30pt doctrines from the first one, that would be a starting point for fitting in more units. I'm not crazy about the loss of Melta guns.

You already have 3 mobile HVY flamers.
