How’s it going HotC’ers? It’s been approximately three years since I last wrote a guild application so I may be rusty. Ironically enough the last guild I applied to those three years ago happened to be… HOTC! So here’s to hoping I go 1 for 2.
Ipokedu and me
Ipokedu and I have been going out for the past 8 months. We are applying as a couple. I fully understand that our apps will be judged individually. however we will accept or reject admission together.
Background
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dalaran&n=Mankostalker
I play a level 80 night elf combat rogue by the name of Mankostalker. This character has been my main raiding toon since the fall of 2006. I’ve played a rogue for years, I know my class and role very well.
Why HotC?
I’m a starving college student who works 2 part time jobs. While I could realistically join a “hardcore” guild during the summer, my free time will diminish once school starts up again. I came from a guild that only raids nine hours a week. HotC and I share the same approach to playing wow. Being able to experience end-game content on a busy schedule and still have a life.
What you can expect out of me?
Should I be admitted, HotC will be getting more than just a rogue that will fill out the roster. HotC would be getting a player who is passionate about playing his class to the fullest. One who will come to a raid ready with flasks, food buffs, properly gemmed/enchanted gear and will not shy away from the friendly competition of “who’s #1 on damage?” Most importantly, if admitted I guarantee I will mock Corb for not being able to pronounce incapacitate.
Guild history
Somewhat Fantastic- I’ve been a part of Somewhat Fantastic for the past two years. Experienced all TBC content save for Sunwell with these guys. While I think there is a great group of people in that guild, I no longer saw eye to eye with their leadership thus my reason for leaving.
Holier than thou- Let’s just say Goe’s experiment didn’t last long?
Legion of Grace- I ran with LoG through the tail end of WoW classic. They fell apart when half of the guild transferred to Drenden and half stayed here on Dalaran.
Some alts that you might catch me on
Mankodonkus- Shaman
Chriswaters- Warlock
Chriscorb- Paladin (That's right I named a toon after my favorite french canadian)
Final Note
I’ve joined Hotchat. I am available to raid on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Avid likes men.
