So i was looking through the IG codex and i had a question about the lumbering behemoth. Since it says you may fire the main gun in addition to whatever you can normally fire when moving up to 6 and stationary, does this mean that it will override stun/shaken like machine spirit does. IE normally not allowed to fire any but only moved 6" so can fire turret in addition to the nothing normally allowed?

RAW, you are correct ... RAI? Not so much, rather clearly.
Machine Spirit says "even if stunned or shaken." But yeah, if you're stunned or shaken and don't move or only move at combat speed, you can't fire any additional weapons, but you could then fire the Main Gun in addition to this ... if you're going with a very strict RAW.

On second thought, I think you can read this numerous ways.
It's a shittily written rule either way, but ...
It doesn't exempt you from shaken/stunned explicitly, which is required sort of to get passed it. It would have to say "you may always fire the main gun, while moving at combat speed or stationary, no matter what," instead of firing it in addition to what is normally allowed.
Here's the deal ... shaken/stunned prevents you from firing, period. So, if you were to sit stationary, and you can usually fire your hull lascannon, you can also fire your big cannon in addition. BUT if you're shaken, you can't shoot at all, so it doesn't matter.
So you'd go "I'm going to shoot my lascannon, AND my battlecannon!" Sorry, no, you can't shoot, period, b/c you're shaken. Awwww.
