I'm switching from Eldar to Daemons, much like I swapped my High Elves out for the same Daemons who'll be showing up on the 40k tables. Here's the list I'm thinking of running.

Fateweaver - 333
Skulltaker on jugger - 175
10x Horrors w/ Icon - 195
11x Horrors w/ Icon - 212
11x Horrors w/ Icon - 212
11x Horrors w/ Icon - 212
6x Bloodcrushers w/ Icon - 265
6x Fiends of Slannesh - 180
6x Flamers - 210

total - 1994

The two halves are Fateweaver, Skulltaker+Juggs, Fiends, Flamers (thats what I hope comes in first) followed up by the 4 horror squads. Three of the horror squads are 11x cause I had some points left over and couldn't really figure out what to do with them. I guess I could pump up the bloodcrusher count by 1, and make it 8 total models, which is appealing, but at the same time seems like it would be pretty crazy overkill. Guess I'll have to try and get a few games in to see which is more useful.

As always, thoughts are appreciated.

We talked about this "in real life," and I'm still of the opinion that it's a very solid list, with the natural caveat of "oops" inherent to Demon reserves/first-turn rolls.

I actually got an interesting response on another thread that suggested swapping out skulltaker for a keeper. I don't have the book around, but if I dropped skulltaker and the 3 extra horrors I'd free up 232 points. I'd probably try to fit in keeper with +1 strength and the mini-lash. If I can fit that in it'd give me another monsterous creature, and one that could actually go after armor 14 (s7+2d6). Gonna see what the points cost works out too once I have a book around, but I find that a pretty tempting option.

Ok, so for my umpteenth different iteration of this army I'm tempted to try the following for the next month's set of games.

The idea would be 4 MCs + both 10x horror units on 3+. That'll give me some fast moving, decent shooting with the first half, and then the reserves are all either very fast or just there to grab late objectives. If the dark gods hate me (as they seem to do) I can drop the "bad" half down pretty far away from the opponent, "strategically redeploying it" in hiding and wait for fateweaver to show up. When he does he, the flamers and the beasts can all move 12"+ per turn and still be relevant.

I'm using fiends instead of bloodcrushers due to the speed and the fact that they don't fight their way outta combat in one turn and then get shot like crushers. Yes, the powerweapons and t5 3+ on crushers are nice, but the fiends are much faster, have more attacks, and the rending means they can fight their way outta situations crushers can't.

Thoughts always appreciated.

changed the keeper to a 'thirster (new Forgeworld Khorne DP model *drool*) and dropped 2 horrors from the 10man squads to make it work.
