Hello Heroes of the Command,

~WoW Background~
I started playing WoW at the end of my eigth grade year as a human warlock named Raiton. Before burining crusade came out, i was only level 16 so i do not have pre BC raid experience. During Burning Crusade i was in the guild Guardians of Knowledge where i raided for a solid 3-4 months. we progressed through ssc and tk gruuls and kara every week. When wrath of the Lich king came out, i began my journy to level 80. while on this journey i visited the guild <Instinct>. When i hit level 80 i left for my friends guild named Crusaders. The mistake i made during burning crusade was that i took too long to gear myself. i never got to see end game content due to my lack of gear and dps. i told myself i would not make the same mistake during Wrath. With that new mindset, i joined the guild Black Dragon Elite. A well progressed and fun guild. Unfortunatly when it came to raid time, they were still joking around and people still had yet to log on. our raids started a good hour and a half after it was supposed to. During the raid vent would be spammed by sound boards, constant histerical laughter and insults about players and things alike. I am searching for a guild with a more mature base and stricter, punctual raids. I was told by a friend that Heroes of the Command is what i am looking for.

~Experience~
I have cleared all content except three drake os 10/25. In malygos i average 4k dps in phase 1/2 and 8k (30 stack) in phase 3. In nax, i know all fights and am missing a few acheivments such as safety dance and heroic shocking.

~Final note~
I am looking for a guild to become friends with, progress, and have fun with. I am a good listener and very quick learner. I am on wow basically all the time and will be available for 10mans and such. I am not here to get gear, i am here to make new friends, progress, and see end game content with skilled raiders such as yourselves.
I Understand that there is already a good 3-4 warlocks that raid and that i would probably be considered for FNF rank. I am very ok with being FNF. I am prepared to work my way up from FNF to raider over time while becoming friends with you all.
Farewell,
~Raiton

Welcome to the HotC app process, Raiton. It can be quite long and involved as anyone here will tell you, but entirely worth it. I recomend that you start by getting to know us. Join the in game chat channel we have called Hotchat and search out some of our warlocks, specifically Slokha. Chat us up a little. Mikevbrandt is the GM and someone that you will want to speak with as well. Currently you wont find him online unless it is Wednesday evening, but polite pestering when he is on is a good thing. Persistence and patience will serve you well. See ya around.

Raiton came into vent tonight and took the initiative to chat with me. We talked about the app process and the joys of HotC. He seemed to have a good attitude about raiding and the game, and about the application process. I enjoyed speaking with him, and look forward to seeing him around some more.

Best of luck to you, Raiton.

Edit* Sorry for messing up your name.. I wrote that right after we spoke, and as I said, I was really, very very tired :)

Update*- due to the new patch and me being forced (by blizzard) to be affliction. my comfortable spec is 0/41/30 hybrid. i am now 53/0/18 afflic and to be honest im not too too impressed. i would love to get in a raid with you guys and show you what i got but right now im not even sure what I got.
i will keep you updated on my affliction technique after talking to slokha a bit more and some more practice on the target dummies

*EDIT*~ I formed my old demonology/destro raid spec back and i am now back to my comfort spec. I am interested in jonra's spec but i dont have the financial requirements to try out multiple specs at the moment.

Hello Raiton :)

I don't know if my comment will help you on your application process but I'd make one anyway :p

Raiton was raiding with our alt 10 man team last week. He do the job and have a good learning curve, he also seems someone mature as a lot here in HotC and "He can get out of shit!"

To make long story short.. He have the potential to be a good element in our team.

C ya on the road Raiton :)

Hey guys,
Thanks for giving me the chance to do ulduar again with you guys. I had a great time seeing the new content and learning the fights. I want to especially thank all of you who attended for allowing me to use my roll on an item. I know it can be a shakey topic allowing non guilded members to roll on loot in a guild raid. I want to thank everyone for being fair and not making me feel like shit. I hope to become a hero soon and continue raiding with you guys all the way to Arthas in icecrown citadel.
Thanks again,
~ Rye Tawn

Thanks for coming Raiton, also thanks for sticking along and not losing your cool on the shaky Thorim attempts.

Don't worry about winning the item, you put in equal effort to down the boss, so you should have an equal shot at loot.

i have to go change my pants after seeing your signature.
Thorim was shakey but fun and every time we were getting closer. progress is progress. it may not be progress for you guys but it was my first time seeing that boss 10 or 25 and eventually we kicked his ass. im here for the long haul, seeing progress and kicking ass.

I had a chance to hang out with Raiton for the day, Had a nice long conversation, did a couple dungeons. All I can say is that he is a great guy, his attitude fits the attitude of the average Hero. He seemed very content about getting a spot in the guild, saying it would be an honor. Raiton would definately be a great addition to Heroes of the Command.
