Let's get the personal info out of the way:
I am a 31 year old Ex U.S. Sailor. I live in the Midwest (Nebraska) with my girlfriend (Druid/Warlock) and our 4 children. We have 4 Girls from 6 years to 14.
I work as an Electronics and Instrumentation tech for a local Agro-business. Feel free to dig deeper, but for now that is about all you need to know I think.
Game info:
I started Warcraft post BC's release. I stayed away from it based on an opinion that the game was childish and lacked challenge for a skilled player. I stayed with Dark Age of Camelot for a few years and then did some game hoping looking for a good fit. DDO, Everquest2, Vangaurd. Long story short I ended up here.
I worked my way up the ranks in the BC with the normal gear up and guild switch until i found a home with Rabid Pandas. The guild was everything I wanted and I felt at Home. I stayed there for Through Black temple and into Wrath. The guild had a rocky start into Wrath with a change in guild leadership and the normal large expansion turmoil of character/role changes.
After finally getting back on track the guild direction and leadership had changed so much that I found myself no longer fitting in. I was able to complete all content through Sarth3D.
I have enjoyed my guild free status for a few weeks and have tinkered around with some 'hard core" guild s and found myself either wanting or uninterested due to the demanding raid schedule. 5 nights a weeks not uncommon for me to play...but with a family it is unrealistic for me to commit to.
I am healer and only a healer. I love my paladin and have zero max level 80 characters. I have a another holy paladin at 65 in case the content get even more stagnant then it is :))do emoticons count as punctuation?) At least i can raid twice as much.
You guild has the things I need to thrive. Active raiding, high expectations, and less then 5 days a week commitment. My attendance is excellent. I have very few things that cause me to miss a raid day. These things could include:
Children's recitals/events. Always have notice.
Work, I am on call every fourth week.
Dragon Con, a yearly convention over Labor day.
Family events, rarely on Wednesdays and seldom on Sundays.
Anything more you would like to know, feel free to PST in game.
I ask that you refrain from judgment on spelling and typing. I am a high school drop out that got back on track in the job corps and the Navy. I know electronics...it is enough.
