Let's get the personal info out of the way:

I am a 31 year old Ex U.S. Sailor. I live in the Midwest (Nebraska) with my girlfriend (Druid/Warlock) and our 4 children. We have 4 Girls from 6 years to 14.
I work as an Electronics and Instrumentation tech for a local Agro-business. Feel free to dig deeper, but for now that is about all you need to know I think.

Game info:
I started Warcraft post BC's release. I stayed away from it based on an opinion that the game was childish and lacked challenge for a skilled player. I stayed with Dark Age of Camelot for a few years and then did some game hoping looking for a good fit. DDO, Everquest2, Vangaurd. Long story short I ended up here.

I worked my way up the ranks in the BC with the normal gear up and guild switch until i found a home with Rabid Pandas. The guild was everything I wanted and I felt at Home. I stayed there for Through Black temple and into Wrath. The guild had a rocky start into Wrath with a change in guild leadership and the normal large expansion turmoil of character/role changes.

After finally getting back on track the guild direction and leadership had changed so much that I found myself no longer fitting in. I was able to complete all content through Sarth3D.

I have enjoyed my guild free status for a few weeks and have tinkered around with some 'hard core" guild s and found myself either wanting or uninterested due to the demanding raid schedule. 5 nights a weeks not uncommon for me to play...but with a family it is unrealistic for me to commit to.

I am healer and only a healer. I love my paladin and have zero max level 80 characters. I have a another holy paladin at 65 in case the content get even more stagnant then it is :))do emoticons count as punctuation?) At least i can raid twice as much.

You guild has the things I need to thrive. Active raiding, high expectations, and less then 5 days a week commitment. My attendance is excellent. I have very few things that cause me to miss a raid day. These things could include:

Children's recitals/events. Always have notice.
Work, I am on call every fourth week.
Dragon Con, a yearly convention over Labor day.
Family events, rarely on Wednesdays and seldom on Sundays.

Anything more you would like to know, feel free to PST in game.

I ask that you refrain from judgment on spelling and typing. I am a high school drop out that got back on track in the job corps and the Navy. I know electronics...it is enough.

Welcome to the application process Scarnight.

You have already taken some of the first steps needed in the application process by talking to me. From what I gather from talking to you, you have the right attitude that is needed by our raiders, self-critiquing and analyzing, always looking to improve yourself. Your healing is on par with your attitude.

Definitely get to know our members, I have seen you in hotchat already. Make sure you talk to Mikevbrandt as well, our GM. Feel free to chat with our guild's other pallies and pick their brains if you'd like, Corb, Lucilyna, Darkvoid and Loladdin.

Thanks for coming in on our Naxx run last night, hope to see you in another raid soon. Good luck with the application process.

Bump

Ok guys open it up. Critique, suggest, comment. I am all for getting to know someone and checking the fit, however people need feedback as well.

Thanks in advance.

I for one must admit that I didn't much like the way he kicked our asses in healing last night. Last thing we need is someone making Mike think we could all do better.

*looks shifty eyed*

(seriously - nice work)

Talut and I made scar heal the hunterbots and his DK through h-HoL - aside from a few deaths of the apes (which with roars of sacrifice flying around like they still can until 3.1, isn't surprising) smooth as silk on a baby's bottom.

I did not see you in action but from the stats, i can tell i like your heavy judging, holy light lover style. Looks like it's working great.

Here's an hint : I'm an old school paladin that got yelled by Mvb many times. I learned that you can become a kickass paladin if you can keep the numbers while adjusting to your raid environement and be proactive (buff on the fly, BoP that silly mage, salv that silly mage, etc)

That's the best way to impress as i hate to see in raid chat, wtb kings?, who's on kings?

Also cleanse a bit more and remember that Divine favor is your friend.
