I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Anthony and my main character is Dizzlo (80 Survival Hunter). I'm a 21 year old college graduate, and live in northern California. I have a genetic disability which I've had since birth which caused my muscles not to fully develop. Because of this, I'm bound to an electric wheelchair (been driving one since age 2). I'm engaged (for 1 month as of today) to a wonderful woman who also enjoys playing WoW (we met on there nearly 2 years ago<3). We are currently in a long-distance relationship, but hopefully she will be able to move here in the near future.
I think I would be a valuable member of Heroes of the Command because I am dedicated, reliable, and play my class well. Joining HotC has been one of my main goals for over a year. I admire and respect the leadership and loyalty of the guild and its members as well as the efforts made to progress through content in a friendly yet no-nonsense manner. Since I am in a wheelchair and am home most of the time, my availability is high. Additionally, I stay true to all commitments I make; you don’t have to worry about me not showing up without adequate notice.
I reached level 80 approximately one month ago and have been striving to get properly geared as well as familiar with WotLK raiding content. I have completed most of the heroic and non-heroic raids and instances. With my current gear (94% iLevel 200+), I can easily do 2k+ DPS. I started raiding part-time in BC content and grew to love it, which is why I left Blurred Reality. The amount of time they were willing to raid was not enough to satisfy me, and we were not progressing through the content. I then joined Epix for about a month. Everything was going well, I was in the top five DPS on 25-man raids, but lost my raid spot when my girlfriend came to visit for two weeks because I was unable to attend the raids. I informed my GM of my unavailability for that time, but upon returning, he had no recollection of approving my time off.
I am looking forward to being a part of a more organized and efficient guild where I can be an asset and make new friends. I understand being a part of the HotC family is a privilege and there are limited raid positions and a vast supply of skilled raiders, but I hope through my hard work and commitment I can be fortunate enough to be a part of the unparalleled greatness that is Heroes of the Command.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration,
Dizzlo
