Melodramatic indeed, looking back on all the 'weird AIM conversations' I've had, most of them are chalked up with the 'I'm going to commit suicide and talk to someone about it online where it is completely impersonal and they can't possibly understand my real feelings instead of getting off the computer, closing the garage door and sucking on my family car's exhaust pipe.

Teenagers. When you have nothing but caffeine and crappy music to live your life off of, what else is there to turn to but suicide?

its not even serious... how many times have you seen kids mimic emotions after seeing them in a dramatic movie?... they say it because they're bored... and that fact bores me.

Only time I believe it's serious is when someone overdoses on medication on their webcam. Other than that, it's mostly mimicking, just as you said.
