Hello there my name is Sean, I am a friendly person with good ideals and always likes to gets things done, I am always willing to help someone out to get the job done. My hobbies include gaming of course... lol, but along with that I like to be someone a person can count on, now enough about myself, from the WoW aspects of things I am a pretty consistent raider, I always love to achieve the highest goal possible, my goal I am currently going for is to clear 25 Malygos and 3 Drake Sartherion, I believe I can contribute to HotC because I am a friendly player, consistent player, and a player who is always willing to help, my ingame name is Khazu, or my alt that I play on from time to time is BearWithin, I would love to get to know more of the players in this guild and potentionally raid with some of you. I also have experience with every raid and have no problems with getting to know people on vent so I like said feel free to hit me up anytime.

So I've been talking to Khazu on and off for a few weeks now. Like me, he's a mainstay at the target dummies practicing his affliction rotation. He is certainly well geared, and can blast a target dummy quite adeptly. He was also surprisingly friendly considering most of the people around the target dummies are preening and full of pretense. Khazu was genuinely trying to be helpful and constructive. A good first impression.

Khazu - I've been shift-clicking you a bunch over the past couple of weeks, and seen your guild tag change twice and now disappear. Heroes of the Command is a very different kind of guild than what you're used to. We recruit not just based on skill, but really on personality and attitude, especially for our raider corps. We have a more mature constituency (both in personality and in actual age) and strive to maintain that environment.

As such, applying to HotC is not a 'rubber stamp' process. It requires tactful perseverence on the part of the applicant. It also requires some humilty and patience. It's far from a quick process.

Join the channel "hotchat" and try to get involved in some heroics and maybe even 10-man runs. Let the people in the guild get to know you, and you get to know them. Mikevbrandt is the guild leader and Jonra is the warlock officer (often on an army of alts) both of whom you should get in touch with.

Also - if you can beef up your application with a little of your raiding & guild history, which is a concern of mine right off the bat.
