Character Name:Marilius
Dwarf Paladin (80)
Player Name: Steve
Known Alias: Caveman,Caves,Hawaii, and The White Samoan
Some of you may already be passingly familiar with me, or have at least seen the name before. I have joined in several HoTC Kara runs and a fair number of five man's over the years.
I regretted not seeing parts of the BC content and made it a point to hit Wrath pretty hard. Armory can give details, but I worked up to 80 and managed to eclipse 26k hps and 540 def in the three weeks since release. I understand how both healing and tanking operate for a paladin and have strived to make the most out of what I have.
I started playing on Dalaran about a month after release and have never server transferred or really played on a different realm. I've consistently played with Dack and Chulainn for nearly four years. I met Chu in ZF in the mid 40's and actually raced against him to 60. He beat me by about two days.
My impression is that Paladins are well stocked in HoTC, but that healers are typically welcomed. I also gather that tanks in 25 man groups are covered. The best summation of what I hope for in Heroes is to fill the role of a 10 man tank, a 25 man healer, and to come out of the bullpen for whatever role is needed on a given night. I am eager to see the Dual Spec changes come about, as being able to seamlessly transition from Holy to Prot without seeing a trainer would make life far simpler. Primarily I want to see the content and work through the challenges. I feel that HoTC schedule is in line with my own.
My current guild tag is We Sacrifice Gnomes*, a guild which I formed for a few close friends. I gave up the title of guildmaster to my alt Echko last night in order to clear the path to becoming a member of HoTC.
*Statement of fact, not a suggestion. Not saying you should, only that we do.
