I appreciate the fact you don't have a template. My name is Levi I live in Idaho, have for all my life. I have been playing MMORPG's highest end for 9 years, 7 years of Everquest and Beta+ in WoW.

I'm interested in finding a guild that, like mentioned in your Applicant required reading, that progresses but prides themselves on perfection rather then devotion(in the sense you don't raid 24-7).

I'm an exceptional player, i have a very in-depth knowledge of the game-mechanics and enjoy putting them to use, raids especially.

I've been restoration since beta, through all Classic, BC and now WotLK. I have 16k hp / mana unbuffed and approximately 2400 raid spell power. Am in several pieces of naxx gear, badge gear etc. All chanted optimal for my current rep / funds.

I'm looking for a home where i can raid consistently and where people are willing to allow you to earn respect.

I was in Moment of Silence and raided with them 4 times, naxx heroic 25, onyx guardian, Malygos, and archavon, all 25 heroics. During that time I was always 6 or below in Overhealing and first or second in regular Healing. I just left today due to not being able to understand Mychen and a "clique" type raiding environment.

I am interested in joining Heroes of the Command because after reviewing your website and grouping with some members i've had no bad experiences. I want a place to call home, i'm a consistent raider with exceptional skill and would appreciate it if you would consider my application with care.

Eve, thanks for app'ing.

We're running 25-man content on Wed and Sun nights, and people are running 10-mans on at least Thursdays and Mondays right now.

You'll want to make yourself available for all kinds of runs / etc., and chat with people via hotchat and in-game/in-forum. You can also use the shoutbox during the day (top of these forums) to converse w/ members who troll.

Again, thanks for app'ing, and try to contact me in-game (Mikevbrandt) to discuss things more. Also, a good person to talk to is Anilyn, an officer and a druid.

I'll be out of game for most of today and tomorrow, but will be back on Sunday, 12/7/08.

Best of luck in your app, and please note that its success resides with YOU the applicant. We're all busy and runnin' around, part of why our raid schedule is light is that a lot of us have very busy lives. Track us down (me, Anilyn, everyone), and build friendships and "champions" within the guild. Get them to post on your app, and advocate for you, etc.

Hi Evesix,

This is a slightly weird time to apply to HotC as a full time raider. We're still ramping up our WLK raiding and still have don't have a solid handle on what roles are needed/missing/overpopulated etc. Healers, though, are very appreciated. Especially resto druids since we lost one of ours on the transition to WLK. Of course, most of our BC raids had 5 druids in them, so HotC is very solid on druids.

My suggestion would be to keep your ears open and make yourself available through the hotchat channel. There may be some 10-man naxx runs that try to get organized and are short a player or two - that's a great place to get involved. Heroics and normal 5-mans are good too. Make some friends in the guild and find an advocate.

Our application process is neither short nor formal. It really is up to you to be persistent in a classy non-annoying way.
