Dragontamer

Character Essentials:
Name: Dragontamer (Currently Dragonmauler of Cenarius, but I will take back my original name when I return to Dalaran).
Race: Night Elf
Class: Druid
Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Cenarius&n=Dragonmauler (Pre-3.02 bear gear).
Other gear: Cat gear is of similar qualilty, but almost a complete gear swap to include more rogue gear; also includes the T6 pants and Staff of the Forest Lord. Healing gear is equally distributed from T4 to T6 gear (I have served successfully as a healer in BT). Have a complete set of SR gear for Mother and FR gear for the Flames of Azzinoth.
Experience: Kara 11/11, ZA 6/6, Gruul's 2/2, Magtheridon, SSC 5/6, TK 4/4, MH 4/5, BT 8/9. Attempted Vashj, Archimonde, and Illidan.
Goals: To explore and beat as much of the game's content as possible without a hardcore time commitment (raiding five times a week is not an option for a married man and father of four). I am almost strictly a PvE player.
Why I left Dalaran: After Lux Socius fell apart, I left because few quality guilds on this server start their raid times late enough for me (your Wednesday start time will require I leave work early, but I can manage that one day a week). Cenarius, as a West Coast server with a number of quality guilds, offered more options and Preatorian Guard was recruiting for ferals.
Why I am returning: PG disintegrated, and with the expansion coming, I am returning to Dalaran to rejoin my family here for the run to 80. Quite frankly, I also like the people on Dalaran a lot more. I expect to put the transfer through this weekend.
Why I want to be in Heroes of the Command: Like Preatorian Guard before it broke up, HotC pursues quality raiding, not quantity raiding. The guild has also demonstrated long term stability.
What I have to Offer Heroes of the Commend:
1) High quality play. I may not be a server-wide all-star, but I know the fight, know my job, and do it well at the T6 level. I know how to use all my forms to best advantage.
2) Solid attendance. I've averaged just shy of 90%. I am dedicated in my use of whatever signup system the guild uses so raid leaders will have no surprises.
3) Adaptability. Though I consider myself a tanking specialist, I am willing to server in any role you assign me. I will respec on demand if necessary.
4) Primary motivation is progression and enjoying the people. Loot is secondary.
5) No drama. Being a guild officer is a REALLY hard job, one I sure wouldn't have the time or patience for. I respect that and will do everything I can not to make it any harder.
6) I know the numbers as I am an avid theorycrafter.
7) I have a good tactical mind and have successfully contributed to winning raid strategies. However, I also know when to shut up and let the raid leader do his job.
8) Loyalty. On Dalaran, I stayed with Lux Socius for two years, and on Cenarius I stayed with Praetorian Guard for four months. In both cases my departure was caused by the disintegration of the guilds rather than any desire to leave on my part. I have never left a guild on bad terms.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to serving with all of you.
Sincerely,
Dragontamer
