Hello Heroes!

My name is Adicon I'm 27 and I love playing WoW! It all started when a buddy of mine suggested I download and play a little game called WoW back when it was in Beta testing and I haven't stopped since. I now have 4 level 70 toons on this server with my warlock being my most played and most fun, something about uber dps I guess :agree:

I'm applying to HotC because of the recent demise of my prior guild Dystinction, I really enjoyed playing with them but raiding has pretty well completely stopped and the people I once enjoyed playing with have all left. Yet again I'm all alone in this world and I'm looking for a new "stable" guild that I can call home. I know several people in HotC already from back in Acumen... Mylene, Soulsaver, Wiyld and Ninazu. All of whom are great people to play with and I look forward to the opportunity to reunite with them and to meet all of you.

My playing times can be a little sporadic as I am a shift worker so you can find me online at all hours of the day. I live in the eastern timezone... work in a nuclear facility (yes it glows when I pee)... just bought my first house (move in 2 weeks)... ummm well not too sure what else to write so I hope I hear from you this week, I'm usually playing on Adicon my warlock or my druid I'm leveling Solitaris.

First off, welcome to our forums :D You'll find people use the shoutbox a fair bit during the day time so you may will to avail yourself of that tool :) Next time you pop in game you may wish to join the channel 'hotchat' its where all the cool people are :D Also, a channel for guildies, oog friends, app's and just all around usually good times can be found :)

You may wish to chat with Jonra, who is our lock officer, and Mikevbrandt as well (our GL). Jedic is also one of the most vetern raiders in the guild who happens to be a nasty lock, hehe, who you may wanna chat with :)

Also, what does your raiding experience consist of? I see alot of Kara...some Gruul...at least one trip to SSC. Not much rep from five mans. It seems like your time is split between AV/pvp (probably because of your on-again off-again availability) and Kara. Also, although the end result of your specc is the accepted 0/21/40, your talent choices along the way are a little interesting. Also your spellpower is a little low, that could probably be fixed with some regemming though.

Yeah I know Janx and Quack but not well enough to know that they were the same person.

As far as my raid experience goes I've been in TK many times and have downed VR and Solarian. As well I have been in SSC many times and I've downed Lurker, Leo, Tidewalker and Fathom lord.

Agreed my gear does require a little work, as of late I was concentrating on getting my spell hit maxed out and spell crit towards 25%. I'm open to any suggestions you have for me I always enjoy improving and tuning my skills. I look forward to talking to you in game.

As per your suggestion Jonra I hopped on maxdps.com and realised I should of never been going after crit. I spent over an hour on the site this morning and I realised a few quick ways to start to remedy my ways :-) Dropped 2k on 4 heart of darkness this morning, all I need now is to find someone to craft bracers of nimble thoughts... I also turned in some badges for a new trinket which should roughly raise my effective DPS by 50 in one day according to maxdps that is. I value any suggestions so keep em coming

Computer issues FTL! My old ati AGP video card fried last week and the replacement card I got has been nothing but problems. It reboots computer at random with blue screen errors and now when I log into WoW it's all garbled and funny looking... I'm adding the image at the bottom of this post but bare with me as this is my first attempt at using photo bucket. I intend to go out Tuesday and exchange the card for an Nvidia AGP card they have in stock and hope to be back to WoW sometime that day. Hope you all enjoy this long weekend and I'll see you all when this issue has been resolved
