I also have the gear to go shadow spec for lower end raids.

Experience: As far as raiding goes...I'm really not at the level of Hyjal or Black Temple I don't think. My gear is good enough to heal T5 level, I'm not sure how well I would perform at anything higher. But as far as total experience, I've been playing priest class for about four years now, and can tell you what's best for just about anything involving priest. I have raided Karazhan, Gruul, and Magtheridon many times, and as far as Pre-BC goes, I have raided Molten Core and Onyxia minimally.

Previous Guilds: My first real raiding guild was Cruce Salus (before that I had raided as a PuG); but because of recent events, I left Cruce Salus to be part of a more friendly raiding environment. I joined "The Guild Inc." to continue farther in raids, but because they used DKP, I didn't like their raiding style. Rolling and looting was unfair, and was causing much mistrust and hate towards each of the members. Currently I am part of no guild.

Alternate Characters: I have a 70 hunter (Erona) that is also of T5 raiding level (All stats are about equal in relation to my priest's level). I am also currently working on leveling a shaman (Rukya), and at the rate I'm leveling it...should be level 70 within a few weeks.

Bump for Rikk. I met him on my haitus from the guild. He's one of the only good players I met during that time. I think he'll fit in well with HotC, and only wants to come on as FnF. Figured it wouldn't hurt for him to app. Always good to have a pocket priest and hunter. :D

Thanks for applying. A couple of questions; first, you say you've played a priest for 4 years ... were you in the alpha? Additionally, I should let you know that we do use DKP style systems here in HotC, so if you have an ideological problem with them we probably aren't a good fit in that sense.

Finally, since you are applying as FnF, tell us more about you the person, since you've filled us in on you the toon. You're apping to be more part of the family than the raiding structure, so give us that side of you also if you don't mind.

Answers to your questions =)

-To be honest, I don't know what you mean by alpha. I've been playing since a little before the game was actually released. I wasn't a true beta tester, but I had a friend give me a link to give me a free tester version of WoW and I got into it. The sound of priest interested me, so that's the class I rolled.

-I actually enjoy the way DKP works. Theoretically, it's about the best looting system out there. But as to how The Guild Inc. ran their DKP, it was very unstable. Not going into too much detail, members would literally fight over loots. I had multiple conversations with fellow members about how if so and so didn't get this, they would do something rash. To me...that kind of thing isn't right in a guild. All the members should work together to become better as a guild, not fight to become better as a single person. Raids don't work when there's only one good player.

-As a person, I would say I'm a total nerd! I'm going to be totally honest in this response...I love getting loots. But I am NEVER greedy about them. Probably one of the real reasons I'm not at the level of Hyjal/BT raiding is because when I see that someone else needs a loot that I need, I usually pass it off, hoping I get it the next time. With my luck there usually isn't a next time, but I'm not going to count how many times I've run Karazhan. I would say, over-all, I'm a nice guy. Sometimes I say things that people take the wrong way, and that is never my intention. I'm very sarcastic on chat, and I'll crack a joke or some sarcastic response to just about anything. I'll easily shut up, or become serious if asked to, I just need someone to let me know when enough is enough is all. =)

At the moment I'm typing this, the only person I think I really know in the guild is Bdoople, but I would like to join HotC in order to meet new people and join a community that not only knows what they are doing, they are there to talk to and just have a good time. All though I must admit, I would very much like to go raiding every now and then if at all possible. =P
