Hey again! :help:

As for those of you that troll the forums and keep up with the general Dalaran goings-on, you know that the guild that I threw my hat in after applying to you guys back in December kinda imploded last week when the GL and a few of the officers jumped ship and server with the entire Guild Bank (Foregone). Epic douchebaggery kinda killed the guild. Some of the guildies are putting it back together as <invictus>, but we lost literally every HoD and primal we needed for the guild's SR gear, about 2 months worth of everything, epic gems, patterns, et. al. Epic douchebaggery. Anyway, last you'll hear of that from me.

In any event, I'm looking to set myself up in a stable, progression-oriented guild with mature, respectful leaders, friendly community and an established base of players on the server where I can put myself in a position for a potential raiding future (per my conversation with MVB this weekend and his suggestion on the Dalaran forums). I haven't been able to find any guild that actually needs a mage that doesn't require 100% attendance 4-5 nights a week.

I'm applying as FnF, notwithstanding an opportunity, if given, to start raiding again as a full member. I know that this application is for FnF and the status that is implicit therein, but my primary derivation of fun in this game is still raiding.:nyah:

My gear is pretty much on par with everyone else's, and I have real raid experience now as 100% Tier 5 kills, 4/5 Hyjal with Archimonde down to 21% (anyone floating from Foregone can tell you that I'm also spot-on with decursing), and 4/9 BT (Naj, Supremus, Akama, Teron). I'd link some WWS parses, but the Foregone member who linked WWS jumped ship and cleared her logs, but I think that Trionn and Lucy would attest that I was highly competitive.

My raid spec was usually 18/0/43, as we only had one shadow priest who was reserved for the fire mages, and it's a self-sustaining build with raid buffs (335mp5 while casting) and has a lot of extra survivability for learning fights. However, I have gone on 4/9 and 4/5 clears as deep fire.

If anyone wants to see how I've improved from the HORRIBLE first impression that I gave you guys in Tempest Keep, I'll be available to do a ZA or go on a off-raid night somewhere this week. I should be around most of this week from 8pm-midnight server time if anyone feels like grouping up.

edit: forgot my armory link

Dear god, not Vishap! Ok, no that's a lie.

As I'm sure Mike has told you, we're a little bit squished on DPS classes at the minute (much the same situation we had when you last applied, and I hope that you do know that I feel it was unfortunate that we were unable to move forward). You still hang out in hotmage ever since the initial application, we still talk all the time, I'm very happy to see you apply here.

Chat me up in game sometime this week and I'll give you the rundown on the mage situation. I think we're slightly more flexible than we were last time.

In response to Vish's application, I can definitely vouch for whatever you need me to vouch for. Vish, put simply, must have been the best mage in Foregone, at least in my time spent there, which was a substantial amount. While I was absent for a few Archimonde progression nights, the ones that I was teamed with Vish on, he performed his decursing and also took a leadership role on announcing when Doomfires were coming towards his group. Not sure what else to say, but this guy really knows his class and I am fairly certain he would be a spectacular addition to any community such as HotC.

The Vish is back. Sucked what happened at Forgone, but good to see you applying again Vish.

Vish and I go back quite a ways in our Bushido days. He's an all around good guy as well as a very good player w/ a strong understanding of his toon and abilities. I believe he'd be a great asset to HotC, even if he is Armenian ;).

So I know you guys do 3 nights a week now in the raid stuffs (Sun, Wed, Thurs?), so what's a good time to get in a run for some non-chat QT. Any non-timed (or timed) ZA runs or some kara badge clears coming up this weekend? A day or two's notice is all I'll need to make sure I can stick out the whole thing. I'll be marking up AH prices on one commodity or another this evening when I get out of work. :nyah:

U geiv meh gowld and I geiv u invyte?

No, in all reality, it's random what goes on off-nights ... we really ARE a casual guild, people kinda wing it.

That being said, sometimes there are things planned, I'd say give a holler to the membership, and be pestery. Even if it just nets you a heroic or something.
