I realize people can become very emotional regarding their position on issues, but flaming will not be tolerated. Any person deemed to be a continuous flamer risks being banned from the forum for a short period of time, or permanently based on the severity.
If you wish to report a post which you consider to be very offensive, you can click the icon (http://www.tlsconline.com/forums/images/buttons/report.gif) which appears at the bottom of the left column of every post. If anyone abuses this system, however, they too risk being banned.

Remember "flaming" someone about their side on an issue won't make them change their mind ... if they're strongly advocating what they believe in from the bottom of their heart, you're not going to sway them onto your side. Neither are you going to sway other people to your side, because they A. have their own opinion on the issue already and don't need swaying, or B. don't have an opinion, and might side with one side or the other based on arguments going around. Remember, however, that people will still oppose what you have to say, and you will NEVER.
I repeat, NEVER.
NEVER.
EVER.
Get concensus on an issue. Make your opinions known ... but don't go overboard.
cheers, and
