My name is Daniel I'm a 24 year old Help Desk Tech for a large defense contractor. I'm taking a semester off school to get things together and have a very good amount of free time available.

My WoW career started a few days after the games release and I have extensive experience with Shaman, priest, and warrior classes from first hand experience. I also have very high knowledge of all other classes from excessive forum reading, and conversations with friends who play other classes (and a large handful of my own alts).

I'm very dedicated to my Shaman and keeping up to date on theorycraft. My first character was a horde shaman, and after 3 years of playing the class I consider myself very knowledgeable. I have played as elemental, enhancement, and restoration and have very good gear for all three specs. I would consider all sets very capable for T5 content and my enhancement set probably T6 ready. I'm tired of people telling me I'm the best enhancement shaman they have ever seen, and desire to be in a guild where I can truly put my skills to the test.

I spent most of my time on Dalaran in the guild called Acumen where I played with several friends. Eventually I became shaman class leader, and eventually temporary guild leader. After Acumen disbanded I did a few raids with a couple different guilds and was not impressed with their performance/skill/leadership (I was always top or near on the dmg/heal meters).

My 25 man experience is somewhat limited to Gruul and Voidreaver kills, and Lurker/mag attempts but I am an extremely fast learner and do really well on high movement fights which I understand is a lot of 25 man content. Before BC I was in a progression guild that blew through MC, BWL, AQ40, and started Naxx in a short period of time leap frogging several other guilds in their progress.

I do enjoy all aspects of the game PVE and PVP. I'm looking for a guild where I can participate in all aspects and contribute both knowledge and time to help others.

I'm a 375 leather worker/skinner/chef, and always come prepared to raids with reagents, food, flask, and often times some to share with others just in case. I have no problem speccing for what ever role the raid needs, but I do prefer enhancement, and have been desiring more experimenting with elemental.

I have played with Ninazu and Wiyld who are both HotC members and feel they would both vouch for me if asked. I chose to app for HotC on my own accord because I think I have a lot to offer, and the raid times also work very well with my schedule.

I will answer any questions so feel free to ask, and plan to begin hassling balhtem once I catch him online.

My armory (http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dalaran&n=Dominada)

Basic Stats
Enhancement unbuffed:
1418 Attack Power
26.56% Crit
147 Hit Rating 18.32% to hit with talents
(Can easily adjust hit/crit percentages with changing one trinket)

Restoration unbuffed:
Roughly 1800 +healing (talents effect this currently enhance so I don't have the exact number)
185 mp/5 while casting with water shield but without mana totem. (normally gets over 230 mp/5 while casting when raid buffed)
9.56% Crit with Spells

Elemental unbuffed:
1008 Dmg/ 1251 heal with Improved Wrath of Air down (Improved by two piece T4 gear) 887 dmg/ 1130 healing without
29.89% to crit with lightning w/talents. 19.89% to all Spells (Add three more spell crit from Totem of Wrath when applicable in raids)
49 spell hit (4.68%) Plus 9 to spell hit from talents, and potentially another 3 spell hit from Totem of Wrath (beyond the hit cap for casters)
not sure about mp/5 while casting as elemental because of lack of talents but it is up there.

Dominada,

Thanks for applying. I will let you know right off the bat that the likelihood there is room for either an Enhancement or Elemental shaman as anything other than an occasional "chance" sub-in, in a raiding sense, is 0.

Additionally, HotC's dps is fairly high - you can corroborate this with Wiyld/Ninazu if you wish. Nearly every dps class - hybrid or not - that ever applied here came in saying "I top the meters at so and so guild," and nearly all of them have come into HotC sub-5 to start (which is fine, and is how it should be). As a result of the fact that everyone is a fairly high performer in a DPS sense, we cannot bump any current dps for new dps applicants.

We just don't have room for another melee dps, or another hybrid caster dps.

As a healer, we only have one resto shaman currently, so that is an option you could pursue if you are interested. That resto shaman is one of our healer officers, name Balhtem in game (though often on Balruid for PVP). He also played a shaman Horde pre-BC to 60 and I believe in raids as well, and is the person to talk to besides me in-game (My name in-game is "mikevbrandt").

Thanks again for applying, and I look forward to hearing from you in-game. I hope the above information gives you a clear understanding of our application/raiding status, and wish you luck in your app.

OMG... Everyone misses me <3 . I <3 dominada too. Great player again, exceptional person, very knowledgeable at his class.

There was a hand full of very exceptionally skilled players in Acumen with me, that basically pulled the guild along with them in the success we did have. Dominada, and Aureluiz were two of them. And when I say handful I do mean handful, I could count 6 players from my old guild I would recommend and dom, and SS are 2 of em.

Well if i had to pick a couple of people to bring in from Acumen, who I knew would give me a serious run for my dps money, Dom would have to be one of em. We all say we topped dps meters, but Dom really means it, I've watched him push over 1k dps (no pressure dom) on a regular basis. As a skilled hybrid I've seen him then turn around and have no real issues healing. As nina said, there are few people from our past who I believe would have the capacity to truly keep up with us and I can confidently say that I know Dom is one of them. Given that we are very full, an FnF status might be the only option, and that would just need to be clear going into things, but I can only hope that will give Dom a chance to participate to the degree that we can appreciate his value to the guild.

FnF is fine with me, I know I'd earn a raid spot eventually.

Just a friendly note that confidence is a good thing to have, as is ability, but outspoken ego is probably not going to win the hearts of the guild that needs to want you in as a member.

Also, while not explicit, I will assume that means you are applying as a dpshaman.

I will play what ever spec is required for the raid be it 10 man or 25 man. This is the reason I have no epic flying mount. I used to respec 3-4 times a week :p

I always respec so that the raid can go on and other people can play the specs they want to. I kinda also like showing off that I'm skilled enough to DPS (melee or caster) and Heal.

I still remember Dominada from when I first started my Warrior (I think we done some group quests way back around lvl15-19ish) and since I have almost lvld three lvl70's since then I cant really recall what you were like so my adding anything here doesnt really help out in your app process at all.... so I should really delete this post but then I would have wasted all this time typing this out so its going up. /end
