Hi im P5yKe , i was recently a member of the total annihilation community for 3 years, but having retire from that , decided to play homeworld 2 online which i bought 2 weeks ago for a tenner at HMV :jig:
My aims are to ,make new online buddies, to get really skillfull at the game and just have a fun time playing this game.
Currently ive got to know a few players on gamespy, my current skill level after a week , i can beat expert AI 1v1, but find it difficult in a 3v3 situation on the "long game".

im also pretty interested in DoW , and might buy that game.

Hey P5yke good to see RTS veteran applaying. We are gaming organization that have skilled players, but dont require skills to be in. Fair play and good sportsmanship (no quiting, kicking or blaming) is the key. If recced in HW2 you are automaticaly TLSC member in other games. If you meet TLSCers try getting in games with them and tell them that you are applaying. We dont require tags so many our members do not wear them or wear other clan tags. For example 90 % of TFL and Demon and some 2X members are TLSCers as we are cross clan org. Good luck.

me and P5 vs Dicen (vaygr) and Cat5 (something like that) (Hiig)
In a CB map (exactly the same as original but it isnt) with 10k and high unit cap.
im not skilled but i have some knowledge of the game.
im Hig and he s vaygr. i d build 1 cc, 10-15 frigs, 12-15 fighters, and the usual config (GW, RM, ARM and hyper mod) and one sy nearly done
Dicen come with 6-7 ccs, full lasers, full Acs, full frigs

in a high cap game it's totally possible - with 30 cosl you can 7 x pump shit and still have tons of reserves

I had that in a super-specced game vs some weirdo, when we both clashed on high settings lol it was nutz

Although all the times I played people with rigged maps the endgame panel didn't show up because the game crashed before it could pop up.

Actually Dicen was bragging, in the lobby, about how he could out resource anyone in the game and was bored with this game because no one could beat him. I told him to go shake his little dick somewhere else. Winoman came on right about then and entered into a game with him. He does have a map thats a little weird, because a few months ago he was trying to get everyone to play on his new CB map he made. When people came out of the game they were all calling him a cheater. Then they accused TLSC of being cheaters too. Dicen is a peice o' work!!

hey yea i do remember a tank0 somewhere :nod: , did you play on zone or gamespy arcade?or even boneyards! my name was PRO_-|[P5yKe]|-_ on gamespy and also on zone, and also TEA_Psynergy awhile back. yep that game ruled, only reaon i quit was because ports for it are blocked for some reason.

i was mostly using the zone . But i feared the clanners the first few weeks .

damn could those guys kick ass .after i looked at someplayback i had a "aha" moment .the first time me and bossie took out two clanners i actually did a victorydance ( goddamn , i said goddamn what a rush )

no offense to yall in hw2 , but TA is much more difficult to master . the commander strats alone where wicked combined with carpet nuking and stealthplane swarming it was build or perish most of the time ( if you survived till that point ;) )

the ai off the units was years advanced to many other RTS i ve tried .

kk, so i found im quite at home with vagygr, my fav strat is going many assault crafts and many laser corvs, then hitting other peoples res collectors.
im not really sure what to do after that tho , firgate dessy bc? , or whether to get shipyard or go cap fac and do a carrier.

Good choice, Vaygrs are better and laser corvs are the bestests. Remember that they are best anti Carrier and anti Frigate weapons in game. As for what to do. Just transfer laser corvs to your partners and build more. Opponents will be lasercorvetted lol. You could also build SY and research BC. Put SY up or below. After hypering BC to the enemy it appear above or below the target. Never move BCs just hyper them. You could take out grav mods with bombers so be able to hyper BC right in enemy MS ass lol. Play me on sunday.

Make your own thread. Recommendations count only to character; you need approval from the division commander (in this case, 4E because Blacksand currently is out-of-touch with the division).
