I'm pretty sure Bent goes to Virginia Tech, or at least went there at some point, but I guess he wasn't shot.

Anyways, I'm surprised no one has made a thread about it. I felt obliged.

my gf's got a Korean friend there too from her old school in thailand, and she was worried when they said it was a Korean who did it, but seems he wasn't involved.

But anyway Bent is OK, just chatting on MSN as always

Everyone I know who went there / goes there / was there is OK.

Disturbed fella to say the least. The only fortune is that he a) shot himself, instead of costing hundreds of thousands of dollars to try in the justice system, and b) he didn't use a homemade IED, which by all accounts he had notions of using, and he referred to as well in some of his writings.

It's not really fair to select fortune out of this, though - it's a true tragedy, and my heart/prayers go out to those directly affected.
