Who would win in a fight?

My BF and i debated this and we've come to the idea it would be a stalemate.

Link would break out the magnetic gloves from the oracle series of games and pin wolvy to the wall, but would be unable to kill wolvy due to the magnetic field created by the gloves.

Therefore we were forced to give wolverine the win because one of two things would happen

1. link would try to declare a truce and wolverine would gut link when his back was turned.

2. both would have all their friends arrive and the xmen would own link's wussy friends.

I don't remember wolvy ever having bone claws. if'n i remember right he had NO claws whatsoever until he recieved the adamantium skele.

I remember reading some comics about it shackled. Wolverine got the metal sucked out of his skeletal frame, I think it was magneto's doing. Anyways though, link would pwn. Musta been a later comic, because 1. wolvy's entire skeleton was replaced by adamantium, and 2. he never had the slightest bit of bone IN his claws so even if they sucked out all the adamantium he would still lose the claws.

Stupid newer versions of xmen... ruining the original greatness.

Wolverine did not have ANY claws, whatsoever until they were created with the adamantium skeleton. His only actual mutant power is the ability to heal uber fast, which made him the first one able to survive the process of having his skeleton replaced with adamantium. In the original storyline, it even showed wolverine as the claws popped out for the first time, gouging holes straight through his fist.
