US ships are waiting for the indonesian goverment to give ther approval before they can begin helping the people overthere . they have a ship full of emergency bridges waiting to deploy but just sit there .

officially the indonesian army can t garantee the safety of the marines .

Yep. Indonesia hasnt liked the US for a long time though. (Thats only hear say) I havnt studied it. But ive talked to a few that say indonesia in general really has a dislike for the US.

I think that's an islam thing... Isreal sent a big relief crew there and they told them to go home.



As to the US... we'll get through... or it will hurt the people in power... so that's a win win situtation...
