I'm interested to hear of your top 5 epic gaming moments, those rare games that have you sweating sheer adrenaline. It can be from any game in or around it.
I don't want ownage reports and it doesn't matter whether or not you won or lost, just those games that even the best directors couldn't make a film out of.
To kick start you off.
1. Apoc and DJTheBaron v 3 randoms in HW2, the game where we just wouldn't die.
The general story goes.. map = terah and 5 minutes into the game our team mate drops creating a huge hole in our combined fleet that the enemy immediately exploited causing the loss of my mothership/carrier/shipyard, DJ had holed up at the main ru patch and gave me a carrier before I died in which I manged to grab another shipyard. Now all 3 opposing players had us totally surrounded which is an impressive feat in a 3d arena, with full fleets trying to break us down. Amazingly the ru just kept on coming and Me and DJ was tranfering units like hell, me focusing on battlecruisers down and DJ doing the opposite. The game looked to be a dead loss but I managed to take out, roughly in the region of 7 Battlecruisers with my maxed out bombers while DJ kept all the frigs and DD's at bay. 1 of the opposing players then launch a full scale assualt at us in which we skillfully decimated which gave the us an amazing opportunity to take the fight back to them. We had just started to attack them and cause serious damage when the game synced. The game had lasted about 40 minutes at that point and the amount of kills we had was attrocious.
2. Apoc v 9th.Inf - political war in Freelancer
3. TFL v RsH clan in EaW - RsH were at the time the undisputed champions of Space Skirmish in EaW, only because we couldn't find them to challenge them, not being content with being second placed I hunted them down and found them, playing them 3 times in a row and coming out on top, giving TFL the top spot in space skirmish which no-one has yet taken from us.

1. Apoc + Lucid battle vs 9th Inf
Amidst the backdrop of swirling nebulas and just on the doorstep of a massive space station a grudge match began. I can't exactly remember what started it. Something like... I was feeling provocative and shot some dude out of the sky for no real reason other than he was a 9th inf. He was docking which meant (according to the server rules) I wasn't allowed to fire at him. Well fuck those rules! So he respawns, comes storming back into the system through a jump gate and starts mouthing off at Apoc and I. Bad move sunshine... for Apoc has a beautiful way with words. And from that Apoc managed to provoke such an escalation of violance that I couldn't help but chuckle. They called in as many reinforcements as they could... about 4-5 ships if I remember rightly. Contrary to the video they produced we actually mullered them to begin with. Once the numbers fell strongly into their favour then the battle became more evenly matched. My frigate was equipped with some of the heaviest weapons available in the mod and with my superior maneuvarability i tore through the 9th's battleships. However, being a smaller ship meant I had far less hull strength, so I wasn't invulnerable and I suffered my fair share of respawns. Apoc too had a great run of kills and a massive supply of nanobots to repair his hull, so he kept on going. All in all this was most definitely the highlight of my month of freelancer online. After we demonstrated our prowess in battle the 9th inf decided to let us off the tax they had hoped to impose on us... bless them, how kind.
2. Any and all Clanbase matches that involved Arctic Stronghold - they were always intense! It's been a while now, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we played 5v5 in ONS matches. Arctic stronghold was our homeground. I dont know what it was about that arena, but when we played as a team on that map we simply owned! *except when divine decided to show us up* lol. We rarely ever lost a match and when we did it was always a close fought thing. The ONS team consisted of Elysium, Apoc, Marb, Dark and myself. Holy shit, those were the days.
.... I'll think of some more later.

2. Apoc v 9th.Inf - political war in Freelancer
I got a chuckle or two over that.
Lets see here...
1. Probably when I actually beat Nera on UT.
2. Halo... getting a Killamanjaro at a LAN party. I'll never let any of my friends forget that.
3. Again, Halo. Beating both games on Legendary in one sitting... Definatly a high point in gaming for me.
4. 2v1. Me Vs. Demon and Rubba on iCTF in UT. And I came out on top... with 56k and running at 13 FPS. *dirt off shoulders*
5. I gotta throw a WoW one in here.... Probably the whole series of ZG raids where my guild got our first raid boss kills.... Ever. :)

1. Asherons Call - Me and a friend taking on an entire guild of 30 some people in Lin, through guerilla tactics, and sheer badassness.
2. Ultima Online - Me playing a "Detective" in town, spotting a thief who stole from a passerby. Tracking him back to his house without him knowing it, killing him, taking everything he had including his house and boat keys, then looting them dry as well.
3. Mortal Kombat - Beating several of my friends at mortal kombat, getting several double flawlesses, while blindfolded, and after several drinks (the more I drink, the more unstoppable I am in fighters :) ). We don't play anymore because of shit like this. :(
Lots more, will add more when I get time.

i'd forgotten about that one, that was fucking intense lol
#1 everything about goldeneye especially in multiplayer, simply put, that was my game
#2 my first battleship in eve, back in the days where you could fit 2 speed boosts, i had saved and skilled for the ship for over 4 months, i took it into its 1st fight which happened to 100man vs 100man fleet fight in uq-v, ca vs sa, started off 200k from the enemies, stared divebombing targets of choice, got within 100k and everyone locked me then tried to light me up, so i ended up burning through their entire fleet, just so i could slingshot out the other side, compressing my missiles into 2 streams that killed 2 enemy battleships and had me get just outside of their targeting range with 10% armor, before about 20 more seasoned people noticed my little run, shouted dj how the fuck did you do that, and 30 seconds later following my noob indsturvtions they decided to folow suit, killing roughly 30 enemy bs inside 2minuites, and having the entire enemy fleet warp off
#3 eve again, leading my 1 corp and some friends against 6 alliances who tried to siege our newly formed home system, loosing a total of 15billion isk in 3 weeks as a corp, and costing the enemy 70 billion isk, over assets worth a mere 30bil, then we sold the area to them for 20bil and left to kill some other people, 3 weeks of amazing battles and putting weeks of preperation and tactics into play, killing the first player owned mothership in eve, buying someone a drink to bring the biggest ship in the game (70billion isk and 6months logistics to build) to help us for 1 hour, and standing as a corp with friends of 500 characters, and holding off 6 allainces consisting of over 10000 characters
#4 and just for a laugh, eve again, as i got pete/angel/larson and the other tlsc in 1 corp into positive standings with my alliance years ago, and pete was a complete noob, egtting excited over a scouting mission, with me telling him what he needed to do, to working alongside him as a ceo of his own corp inside the mc alliance, and stil having to bail him out with fuel for his return hoime ;)
i dont list any of the hw2 games here as there are too many to count, but ive had some amazing games with tlsc, and not just hw2
