View Full Version : New DoW Division Leadership

It's been a while since ya'll have had a good CO and XO's to run things and keep the division organized, and that's my fault.

All said, after a lot of back and forthing in officers' forums, a solution has been arrived for at least the moment.

For the next month-ish, basically as a trial period to see how they all do, and followed by tweaking if necessary, this will be the DoW command structure.

CO -- The_Fell_Hand
-- Fell has shown leadership, initiative, and maturity, and seems to be more or less on the good side of everyone in the division; while not previously an officer in TLSC in any capacity, he has stuck true to TLSC ideals of friendliness, easygoingness, maturity and fun gaming; he's also been active in trying to organize the division, and that says a lot for him.

XO #1 -- Laserflip
-- Laserflip, while controversial at times, has a lot of potential for leadership within the DoW division. His initial assignments will be organizing and working on the competitive aspect of DoW:TLSC ... he'll also be trying to organize tournaments/clanscrims/etc.

XO #2 -- Morpheus
-- Morph may have been an option for CO, but he is shy on time, and so will be acting as an overall helper for the division, swinging around various duties and using what time he has to help organize things, ensure ya'll are having fun, and generally picking up odds and ends tasks, etc.

I expect ya'll to respect these folks, as their job is to make your gaming experience more enjoyable. If they fail to perform their job, changes will be made after the month trial, but I think they'll all perform well in the assignment of improving the fun, organization and competitiveness of this division.

I miss you guys, and maybe you'll see me on every now and then to pick up the odd game with ya'll for old time's sakes.

Best of luck to the new officers here,
-- MVB

Shouldn't a more active member be up for the position of XO?

Oi, more active than who ... laser or morph? Morph expressed that if the division as a whole wanted someone besides him, he had no problem stepping down for someone else; so suggest someone if that's who you mean.

Express your concerns guys, I trust you are all mature enough people to know what's good for the division.

I was under the impression that morph doesn't play much anymore... Or was that wasn't able to play much before, but will be able to play a lot now?

And laser seems to spend more time smurfing, then raving about how l33t his eldar game is, than playing with his recognised name. But, I'm sure being given a position other than grunt will change that.

Please note, my concern is is based around the leadership being present. I've seen what happens to a team when the leadership becomes a nonexistent factor due to real life.

Thanks MVB I've allready began to notice big changes in the DoW division. Players are around more often and lasr has been doing a good job with the competitive aspects forsure. Fell IS well liked by the the team. Thanks to Fell and Lasr for taking the time out of their everydays for the good of the group.
