It was fucking nuts tbh. Worst performance ive ever seen on tv... she was singing off key, it was like hurting my ears... and as soon as her set is done, and the mic goes off, and everything goes silent, THE ENTIRE STADIUM IS JUST BOOING.

I did see the replay and it was ugly...you would be surprised to know who else lip syncs out there too...I should know, I was Chef for Clear Channel for four years. I have cooked for many bands and musicians on tour. But, because I signed a Confidentiallity Agreement, I can't divulge.

Not really, she has no place on the stage. The ONLY reason she's their is because she's attractive. Not her voice, not her musical talent, not her ability to write a decent song. The only reason she was up there is because music videos and specifically MTV have made it easier for a no talent boob implant bimbo like britney spears or ashely simpson to shake their ass for the camera then to actually make good music of any type.

The whole concept of lip syning proves my point. If you're a singer then you don't lip sync. If you're dolled up trifle that's paid to shake your ass while pretending to sing then you lip sync.

My understanding is that most of the people that spend more time on their dance moves then their lyrics tend to lip sync. Which would be all the boy and slut bands... Basically anyone that you would first describe as 'talented' is unlikely to do it... if your first words are "cute" or "hot" then look for the back up singer/tape.

She also had a blow up on SNL a while ago... she was lip syncing for them and she got out of sync... like majorly out of sync... she was so embarrassed that she walked right off the stage with a big red face... seriously... you get paid millions of dollars... pay me that money and I could sing better then your ass... it really isn't that hard to at least 'try'... fucking pathetic.

Was the same thing back in the day with Linda Ronstadt using a voice exciter (sp?) box to hit the high notes. She was accused of doctoring her recordings after she was caught using it onstage and her sales plummeted for awhile. Alot of singers used that "new" tech at the time to create a better sound. But because she was lashing out at the Vietnam War she got slammed for it. Cher uses it to this day and she gets more and more popular, albeit the gay clubbers, but....

I'm not sure, but I think I'm offended by that statement!! Younger woman, Bahhh!! You think just because you get older things change drastically? Not at all. I don't know how old you are but your life doesn't change that much and you don't become some old lecher. Yeh, he is right about the whole business of lip syncing. But alot of musicians actually use the technology to enhance a stage performance sometimes. Here is a hint: The biggest dollar percentage gross of any tour in the 90's......whether they are "talented" is in the eyes of the beholder.
