DoW Meeting - Needs to Happen.

No one's organizing this, so may as well just slap it down and see whom shows up. Our scrim vs BBF needs to be before the 17th, else it won't be for a long time.

The meeting will be this Saturday, January 8th, 3 pm EST, or 8 pm GMT in TLSC's IRC channel. It really can't be any later, and I'll use the gathering to confirm the Scrim date/times, which will likewise be next weekend before some members head out and are busy thereafter. We'll also be organizing the teams that will square off. Best of luck guys.

As for everything else that apparently needs to take place in this meeting, I humbly request the presence of MVB and whomever else he'd like to bring to moderate the whole thing. I don't know ALL the politics, but it's fairly safe to say that some type of reassurance as to the overall composure of this meeting would be a nice guarantee for people who bother to show up.

yea...i have a lot of things i need to ask/request of you guys as a division to make things run more smoothly...im looking forward to this. im sure if we all can cooperate, we can surely turn this thing around and make it great and maybe even influential in the community, if that is what you guys want. but first i gotta know what you all WANT out of the division. if all you want is to have fun playing the game and have no other goals, then we can just focus on getting along better, getting people MORE ACTIVE, new strats, communications, and getting people to help others who are struggling. you all know i am available if you need any help with any race, and i know fell can help you a good bit with space marines especially in team games. hes a nice guy ;) . lookin forward to this guys, but i hesitate to say a time because im not sure what time zone you are all on.

exactly ;). and that is what we i plan to work towards. soem of us dont want that, though, they just want to play around and have some fun. thats cool too. i envy people who can lose so many games in a row, and still have fun...and those who have not a competitive bone in their body. thats tough to do lol...but i know at least most of us are SEMI competitive...although i know im probably the most so in the division, im toning it down a bit. i do enjoy playing with all you guys, win or lose. so whatever our goals are lets do it and do it in a fun way.

never. i agree that the division is having tough times, but we're doing it. many people still play the game, we are getting better, and I see good things in the future for the game. hell, look what we did for GC2! it was no more active than this game is now. while our members dont have the natural talent for dominance we did in GC2, that doesnt really matter. it just means our goals will have to be a little less competition-oriented, and that is totally fine with 95% of the division so its fine with me. doesnt mean I cant do some competitive 1v1 automatch when the guys arent on ;)
