Holy cow I think this is cheating. When I was in Australia I at leasted waited for the server time to change.....

I have no expectations for the BC. I just want new 5-10 man crap. DM was the last small group instance made and that was over a year ago. I think that part of the game has been neglected because Blizz wanted bigger and flashier.

I'm not really looking forward to BC at all. Sure the hunter trees came out the other day but personally I think blizzard could have done better. Who wants to go 41 points into marks just to get a Silence for 3seconds? Let alone its mainly good for pvp. I did enjoy the change of BM but still could have been better.

Overall blizzard did an okay job. Certain classes need some nerfing and some classes need to be more buffed.

The 5man and 10mans should be good, only thing is people have become too acoustomed to the instances now and most likely will not be willing to try the new 5mans. Wiping over and over again to learn a fight that really was simple is purely genious by blizzard.

I think it would be smart of them to hold off on the 25 man stuff and make ppl relearn 5-10 man instancing again. I have a feeling that if they don't many of the early instances will be totally skipped by the hardcore guilds just to get to the end.

I loved the 5-10 mans when I had to do them, ie before MC was a thought in my braid. I loved UBRS and ran it over and over and over in search of that valor chest that I won and never put on. However, I am scared that we won't have the impetus to run them in BC. Everyone will want to race to 70 in order to hit the next set of purples that will drop, rather than having to toil in the 5 mans for a few months gearing towards the next raid instance. I hope beyond hope that Blizzard has found a way to gearing up in the 5-10 mans necessary for the 25 man runs rather than being able to use Naxx gear to do them.

My unsubstantiated guess is that the profession recipes and other expected quests/faction rewards are going to put a bit of a strangle on straight out level grinding to 25 man. The other bump in the road is the anticipated gold requirement for a flying mount needed to reach some instances.

Also the difficulty level control on some of the lower level new instances should mean that they are played more even at the cap, depending on the nature of the reward I guess.

I still love the 5-10 man instances. Smaller, more manageable parties rock. 40-man raids are a thing to behold, but for a lot of it you never really get to see what all is going on. oh, you know what should be going on, with DPSers DPSing, healers healing, tanks tanking and whotnot, but you don't really get to see everyone at work. There's just too many people, too much overlap, too much wasted punch. 5-10 man instances are much more, hm, intimate, I guess you could say.
