How do I disable smiles?

I've been trying to learn photoshop and I was messing around trying to make an attempt at a sig. But it won't let me post it because :/ = a smiley!!!

EDIT: YOU CANT UPLOAD IT FROM YOUR COMPUTER. YOU HAVE TO HOST IT AT imageshack.com, fastuploads.com, or soemother places, the mighty demon has spoke :|

Ok guys the image in .psd which the online photo album hosts don't support. Is there a way to change the file type? Can I just rename it without destroying it? I'm a photoshop n00b.

theres no way to simply disable the masses of smilies avaliable on the internet, you have to ruthlessley exterminate each and every last one of them

You cant host from your computer... as for problems with smilies the best way is to give it a simple name without : or ) as they are commonly used in smilies.
