Hows 5 seconds (+3 intercept) = 8 seconds of Dual fury damage on a stunned mage. Hows that? :D [BTW fear that damned Water Elemental with Intimidating shout (last 8 seconds xD )]

Not to mention, no matter what ability you use first, you'd end up having too little time/rage to actually do some damage in whatever time you have left..

Fury spec + decent gear + competent player + engineering > any mage.
Intercept > few hits > arcane bomb > few hits > execute

Great idea, use a 15g bomb every time you see a mage!

That's only for the good ones, the shitty ones go down without a real fight.
And when I was playing they weren't 15g/bomb.
Winning is everything. :)

Well, worth it using a 15G bomb on a mage u see getting off his mount to harvest a Black Lotus ^.^
NEway well i HAVE officially stated that ill find a way to kill a mage in PvP 1 on 1 :D
Call me a noob right now if u must, but be prepared to apologise once i make it happen :>

I understand completely. I set out upon the same task because of a couple mages in my guild who were completely full of themselves.
Eventually, I could do it without the bombs on the lesser skilled ones. But against the good ones it sealed the deal. With engineering, good gear, and lots of practice you can take any class. :)

Well, u see... i was thinking of wearing greens (ya greens) with frost + fire resistance. (or the ones with arcane also, forgot what theyre called, but im sure i saw parts like that on the AH or that i could make when i was a blacksmith that had that). that + some other tricks.
Number 1: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=10121 = 300-400 (possibly even 60 every second (if Thottbot ppl r correct)for 10 = 600 damage) less HP on the mage when he uses that little frost nova.
Anyone got any other tips? :>

Gear yourself like a rogue. Don't focus on trying to survive, just focus on killing him within the limits of your stun/silence/interupt/whatever.

What I find more interesting about your build is that it's a build using fury for DPS but also using protection for a better the average tanking :).

Well, once upon a time i was trying to imagine holding (or better yet, getting BACK :D) aggro in a difficult situation with Berserk + (maybe) DW + recklessness + (maybe enrage) + DEFINATELY Flurry while activating Last Stand
see.. although i havent chosen Defiance (+ threat), i got all that psycho damage stuff for aggro.
Has any MT ever actually used a similar build?

Thats the thing, he keeps at the start, giving himself time to nuke me down before i can even touch him.

Keeps what at the start? If it's a duel, it comes down to whoever is faster off the start, or what tricks you utilize. Cloaking device, or one of many other toys can throw his practiced routine way off.

i wish you luck Berserk. myself its like this... mage duel.. i got 30% win chance, if he got half a brain
world pvp, i got 70% win as i ALLWAYS get the jump, only gear and luck can change that outcome.
