Horde vs Alliance

I was just wondering what the strong points and weekness of both sides were in other people oppinions... I think that the Shaman give the horde a large advantage and the Alliance are let down by the wrong use of Gnomes (having gnomes as anything but a mage/warlock is stupid). I also think the hordes special abilitys on their races are far better than the Alliance (Humans have xtra spirit where as orcs get xtra command to beats and axe speciality, Gnomes get xtra intelligance where Undead get 300% more breath and can caniblize, Dwarves get xtra gun spec and tauren get warstomp and xtra herbilisim and Nightelfs get shadow meld and xtra agility and trolls get beserker and throwing spec) it seems to me that the horde are far tougher than the alliance.

A lot of people in the horde misues their units as well. People misusing gnomes isn't a reason for an imbalance.

As for the rest, remains to be seen; when I'm level 60 in a few months, and when all I do is PvP with groups against other groups of 60s, I'll let you know my feelings on alliance vs. horde imbalances; until then, who knows for sure?

Not that I know all there is to know by a long shot, but I can tell you that MVB working the controls on a warrior makes him about 3 levels more effective than the average warrior n00bs (lil' kids mos' like) I run across, zooming about trying to keep the rage up.

I would venture a guess that it's really player skill in the final analysis, and people who don't know how to play are going to get owned no matter what.

I don't know how much better than me the "best" warriors are, but I do know that our micro skills from HW, HW:C, HW2, DoW all make me insanely better than the average warrior (as lard pointed out, oh how I love you lard). They usually don't even use defensive stance, and just fool around going insane and two-hander, and don't set up their battle panel with the right skills for party/solo at ALL. Most don't even use rend.

GJ taking off fear spell, and btw ... Lard is about 50 x's better than the average priest as well ... I feel much less secure partying with a 35 priest than with lard's 26 priest.

hehe, T took on a --->Gnome<--- rouge 7 levels higher than him when he was like 38 ;)

Im still working on using my shaman right... so far ive killed a shaman 2 lvls higher, a warrior 3 lvls and a hunter 2 levels... they were prety hard fights, some even made me need to use my healing spell :(
