Looks like you have a driver problem. Run the Diaxdiag test, and see what comes up. Try to replace the driver.

It might be nothing Erik, from the sounds of it though looks like a corrupt driver, run hijack this and post the results, as there is a small risk its could have an underlying problem. If you do not have this program pm me and ill send you the link.

pull the card, put it back in then reinstall your drivers if the problem persits and there nothing causeing it then you'll need a new grafics card, what make and model number is it?
