Ye of little faith. What if I decided to just take the date out of the MotD? Would that make things easier for everyone? Nah fux yall, Ill screw up the date when I feel like it.

So we downed Huhuran last night, and ya know what? I have a bitter taste in my mouth. Why? Because I feel the fight was severely nerfed. Until I got aggro at what 35% I took a grand total of 250 damage. Yes that equals one poison volley which I resisted half of. Last week the poison damage in phase 1 was much much greater. With less heals being needed for phase 1 it put the healers in a much better situation for phase 2. Now dont get me wrong phase 2 is still a PITA , but it sure helps when your healers have alot more mana. Either way, I am glad the hooch is down, I have been waiting to see the Emps since we started and Sunday I should get my chance.

The fight I am more impressed with is the Prophet fight. It is supposedly bugged to hell (or is it finally working as they intended it?) yet we still one shotted him. I heard one guild took 10 shots to down him, but we pretty much handled him as usual.

Grats to the winners of their new epic staffs. Hopefully we can get the Emps down quickly so you can enjoy their hawtness.

I got my Scarlet Tabard yesterday, in one attempt thank you, Hatchet eat your heart out baby.

So what is on tap for this evening? I knwo I need to farm thorium at some point but I may do that tomorrow morning when there should be less people online. Is ZG going? What about Ony?

Grenwich, the price on arcanite has dropped again. You could buy acranite bars yesterday for 40g which is almost what they were before the patch. Crystals were pretty much the same price. So don't fret just yet things may be getting better.

I thought Thursdays were forum maintenance days?

The one fight I did truly feel was incredibly nerfed was Fankriss. Pre-patch, I had to basically heal to the BEST of my abilities and conserve mana like a machine, or I'd go oom incredibly fast.

Now, I was NEVER in danger of going oom, I finished the fight and still had around 30% mana without taking a single potion. The healing required on the tanks tanking the adds on the sides was drastically less. It was like a joke compared to how much damage the adds did pre-patch.

/Sigh , but what can you do, hehe.

And huhu wasn't really such a direct nerf, more like the new craftables really fucking help.

I would say Huhuran was less a nerf, and our heal crew was v. good last night.

We did the heal-soaker strat for the first time on Sunday, with a VERY under-geared crew, and kept the soakers up really almost longer than last night, just didn't have any DPS in the raid really that was worth much.

Last night, we had the frontline crew in force, and yeah our NR was buffed, but by a look at /raresist it wasn't buffed *that* much on the soakers, who had already pounded their NR up to begin with. It did help stats some though.

I was just impressed that we one-shot her.

Yeah when Skeram Splits sometimes* his splits would be directly ontop of him, so you were unable to target them and they'd go earthshock crazy. Grats on Huhuran btw.

Lastnight was another night in Naxxramas. 26g in repairs or so. All i can say is, It is excruciatingly tough. Everyone has to be awake. Everyone ahs to be paying attention. No room for error whatsoever. We tried the Abomination wing lastnight. 4 aboms, 2 that do this hammer move, which bounces the raid up into the air, 2 of them cleave like Vael 3600dmg and chains... plus their Nature dmg aura...

The WoW forums are beginning to really be a pain in my backside. People assumed I was Phaeth. Not so. Now I'm being called out for being Phort. Which is just absurd. I've never had the need to post on a lvl1 alt before, and I never will. I hope the new forums will tell a bit more of your background.

Im surprised how the price dropped this patch. Monday night, their is no crystal in the AH. Tuesday night, evryone is selling them for a fortune.

Wednesday night, evryone knows the price but the people that needed the attunement asap are in Naxx now and evry farmer are trying to get rid of their crystals before it goes back to the normal AH price.

The heat is on AD insigna quest right now...so much grinding for an 18-slotter lol

Muin, the patch bugged it out. Skeram previously would on a rare occasion split, then his "main" would hit his teleport timer and you'd end up with 2 on one platform.

Now, all 3 drop wherever he is when the split happens every time. Not sometimes ... every time.

We one-shot that bitch like a 2-dollar whore though.

I guess my feeling on why Huhu was nerfed is because I went in with roughly the same NR last night as on Sunday, yet I took far less damage from poison in phase 1. I mean it was a joke how little poison damage I took. I am not complaining because the fight seems more reasonable now. I just think it would be more satisfying had we done it last week.

As for the bug adds, they were kinda easier. I had 4 waves on me and my priest was dead, yet (I assume it was Amorn with the help of a friendly druid) had little trouble keeping me up.

They aren't easy that is for sure. But if you can keep the adds feared then it doesn't seem quite so tough assuming you don't get thunderclap and meteor.

We killed two trash mobs not really knowing what the hell we were doing, but a lot of people got blowed up at the end of each, and since we weren't going to do Emps that night and they respawn, we called it off 'till Sunday.

We wound up skipping bug family last night. We had Kri on the extreme north end, and Yauj on extreme south end, and she was still healing him. So, it's true, for now.

I don't think Huhu was nerfed last night. My thought is the healing and cleansing was just spot on. I'm thinking you get lots of damge from the poison only when you have the stacked debuffs and as long as you're topped off taking the sleep off of you isn't so bad. I also think the new NR gear had something to do with it plus I think we were just plain sick of getting owned by her. Same thing happened on our Rag kills....lots of wipes then we just said screw it and crushed him.

We didn't really wipe on Rag.

We tried him once with <40 men, once with almost no buffs, then killed him on a one-shot fully buffed.


Huhuran was more like Firemaw or a couple of others where we were using a bad strat. As soon as we made adjustments, it was cake. She was cake on Sunday as well, we just didn't have the firepower. Last night we had the firepower and then some, with only 39 in the raid.

I have never found the AQ40 fights to be hard other than the learning process. Frankly, even the pre-Emps trash will be easier now that I've seen the damn things once.

The bugs were a hassle. We should kill them Sunday as a warm-up. Can you kick ladybug to interrupt the heal? Otherwise will be such a chore. <sigh>.

Yes the tabard is just to have. I got it because it is my second favorite instance. I ran it some many times between 34 and 50 on Telva that I don't want to remember. Plus it matches my flaming head quite well.
