Im hoping America can put on a good show at the world cup. I probably wont watch much of the tourney because soccer on TV bores me to tears.
In other sports news, the mavs won game 1 last night :)
In WoW news...allia needs some some armor kits or something....dies in a blink of an eye in ZG. :P

Congrats to all the guys in ZG last night, it was a lot of fun as usual :)
Tongued now being able to get the lead in the Stormwind production of CATS, because of his new found lycanthropy.
Mistress for getting some sexi gloves and taking Mori on the shopping spree of her life in ZG (boots and gloves..it was a healadin sale!).
Zeph for putting up with lightening all around her and not throwing her computer out the window in a fit of rage.
Mike and Telva for their friendly rivalry over the Aegis, hopefully it'll fall a lot more before 1.11.
Cammy for hitting exhalted and her new booties.
Evelynn for being gracious and allowing me to get the evil eye, Jin'do's evil eye. She is a lady to the core (and I don't mean Molten Core).
Running around in AB afterwards was a lot of fun. I had forgotten how fun and frustrating pvp as a healer was, but I wanna go again!
Can't wait to have fun tonight in AQ40, I'll bring the sunscreen and Margarita mix!

GL in AQ tonight everyone, taking my girls to see Cars at 7pm, we've been looking forward to it for awhile. Very few movies come out that actually cater to the entertainment needs of an entire family.
Pixar never fails to impress.

My parents are here for another week and I have to visit with them, plus I have a paper on Quantum Cryptography (with a 10 minute presentation), a final exam in Intrusion Forensics and a Final project using Ethereal intrusion detection software due in the next 2 weeks.
That gives me no time to play whatsoever. I start another class on the 5th of July until the 11th of August, then I return to Johns Hopkins August 22 for regular classes until January 26th.
These next months are going to be tough on me. I'd rather spend the time focusing on obtaining this stupid degree (and maintaining my pretty high GPA).
HOWEVER....
I think I'm taking off July 3, so I'll have a whole 4 days to lay the smacketh down!!!

My highlight of the night was killing Arthess and retaking the Mill solo, and then him coming back for revenge but Rynn came by an rooted him in place as I shot a few Shadow Bolts up his Arse.
I did have a small pang of sympathy for you guys Re: Warlock Fear. I feared him right off the bat, and it was fun to watch him run in circles with full dots and my poor Felhunter trying to catch him.

Yes PvP was fun last night. Actually had my head in the game, and of course waib on my ass, and actually did well. I don't think we did bad considering we were totally unorganized and the high ranking guys on our team were probably in their own TS, so we didn't get their calls. The game lasted forever even though they had control of the game before we even got in.

Whenever I hear the word "forensic," I think of these guys.
They're headquartered in Hawaii, at CIL-HI, the world's foremost "real life" CSI-lab. The main thing they do is send missions to Laos, Vietnam, etc. to recover the remains of lost US service-men and women to identify what they find, figure out all kinds of odd things about the causes of death, and use forensic anthropology to identify who they are and bring closure to the family and a hero's burial to the dead. They occasionally get asked to do outside work, however, on everything from criminal investigations to archaeological finds.
A good friend of mine, now a retired Air Force General, once ran this department of the Air Force, and hooked me up with a VIP visit of their site while they were finishing detailed analysis of the remains of those who went down with the Civil War "Monitor" ironclad. Closest I ever came to pursuing a life in criminal forensics or something similar.
It was some very, very cool stuff.
/end derail
Thanks Leri for putting the word "forensic" in there.

That was a lot of fun! I was following up our little Tony the Tiger (Tongued) back to the mill when I heard the pitiful cry of a gnome getting hurt (nothing pulls on my heartstrings harder than that cry). It was a lot of fun keeping him rooted in place as you and Tongued tore into him (probably the reason why his friends would always charge stunned me when I went down to the farm).
hehe, have to love druid crowd control ;)
Leri, I feel for you with all your hard work you must be feeling like a ton of bricks are on your shoulders! I know you'll do yourself and everyone proud though, kick back and try to enjoy the 'rents as they visit. Come back when you can make the time, you know we'll all still be here :)

<3 it's been a fascinating study, if not one of the hardest things to do. I went back to college at 35 and this is something I never thought I'd ever accomplish. I said that about marriage too, and then came Asa...so I guess nothing is impossible.
Living in the DC area, and being part of the first cohort of Dig Forensics at JHU, we got a lot of cool professors who wanted to help build the curriculum...our Ethics teacher is the DoD cybercrime counsel, the guy teaching us intrusion forensics was the Director of the DoD Cybercrime lab (the largest accredited lab / ASCLD-LAB) in the world (went to a field trip there!), we have instructors who are directors from the FBI, FBI agents, known leaders in the field etc., teaching us. War stories, FTW!
I'm hoping this will all translate into mucho dinero for the Roguediva so Asarlai can be a stay at home pop someday. LOL

I lived in Minnesota for 3.5 years. Some of the most beautiful country on the planet there, but it takes a special person (read: no blood, just antifreeze in veins) to put up with those winters.
I moved to Minneapolis in the summer of 1996 from Los Angeles. That winter, December 26, 1996 to be exact, it was 22 below zero WITHOUT windchill. I've never been the same since.

Having lived in California for 22 years of my life, I wholeheartedly concur. Dry or humid, heat is heat. I much prefer the east coast for me. Though there are a lot of people who like the west coast, and the great white north, and that's a good thing as it means less traffic for me going to work. Everyone who has ever been on the Washington DC beltway during rush hour can laugh now.
