Ya so I really suck and that is the end of the story. So I queue with Jizra (Reyna's rogue) after Ony last night, and that WSG match convinced me to get a new side job because PvP isn't the place for me. Why? I don't tend to step back and analyze the situation before attacking, I just charge it and hope for the best. I guess I am used to Lard and Waib being right behind me being my guardian angels. Well, when I got into WSG without the either of them, I should be smart enough to realize I will be getting ZERO heals and I should adjust to this......uh no. Me and my nub self continue charging in and fighting alone and getting ownt. Reyna really should have slapped me around to get my head on straight. What made matters worse was the fact there I was fighting a warrior 1v1 and I see go into defensive stance....(in my head I am laughing at him since I now have death grips)....and I get disarmed.....I never updated item rack to include them in my pvp gear. So now, I can just picture all of the horde laughing their ass off at me in raid chat/ts/vent. Nub mistake by me, and just overly shitty play. At least I can admit that I suck, now I just have to fix it.

Grats to my boy on two things, one for becoming an officer. I knew he had it in him; I told him as much and yet he said Neva! Too bad now he can tell me what to do.....Secondly, he has decided to jump on the wagon with me until July 1st. Yes that is the goal, no more drinking until July arrives (at least). So wish us luck, and Zeph I am now gonna do this just to spite ya babe!

Thanks Winsome and Waib for the Ony run last night. Twas fun as always. Maybe next time she won't bug out and we can skin her. I won the collar which means, I officially need/want no more loot from her. However, I shall be available to help keel her (every other week until August). Too bad you didn't get Ossi down, though I am sure if you can get a consistant group, it will happen soon.

Tonight is BWL night, maybe just maybe tonight is the night for Styleens. Oh who am I kidding. That POS isn't gonna drop for us until the next time I can't go. So I guess I need to start coming up with another itemization plan, since the 2 things I want most from BWL just don't drop, the wrath shoulders being the other.

That bad of a day already? That was what started my problem, I got in the habit of drinking from the bottle rather than using mixers. It has gradually gotten to the point (like over years) that the chaser was pretty much no longer needed and the mixing process took too long.

Plus, tequila doesn't agree with my system. I get the worst hangovers from drinking margaritas.

Just cos you got disarmed doesn't mean you suck--I got disarmed last night...does that mean I suck? Did you try to disarm him back? And yeah, charging into a pack of enemies, dropping a fear bomb and laying the smack down is what a warrior does best--just peek over your shoulder and make sure you got some back up next time--don't hang up your PvP career just yet!

Think of the Sulfuras as your PvP taunt button--you are going to draw aggro with it, so use that to your advantage--get people to chase after you instead of the person with the flag! Recruit a dedicated healer before the gate opens and stick together! And remember to shift-click the Alliance symbol on your mini-map so you can keep an eye on where everyone on your team is (including the flagrunner).

Oh Hatchet I am not giving up, I just need to practice more which is what my point was I just forgot to include it. I don't want to be labeled as some punk who is trying to get by in PvP because of his gear. Right now it is probably the case, especially since I am relatively new to the world of 2H weapons. I DW'd the last time we got into PvP because the faster weapon swings lead to more KBs, less damage but more KBs. I officially retired the brutality blade last night to free up space in my bag, so there is no option of going back (no I didn't sell it or dis-e it).

And no, I didn't disarm the guy back, I just backed away from him, and for some reason he didn't chase. He was probably laughing too hard.

next question and everyone should feel free to jump in....what enchant should I put on the Sulfuras. Currently I have +25 agility, I did it because I had 90% of the mats already and I thought 25 agility would be > crusader. Now folks are questioning me on that, and so I am taking it to the smarter people in the world. Which is betta? Please don't use cost in the argument because I have one orb and Ceries still needs her boots so finding ppl to go get more is easy.

I have a TUF with a weapon chain and an OEB with Crusader on my action bar. If a warrior goes into Defensive Stance while fighting me, I equip the TUF. Lolpwned. If a rogue w/ Riposte disarms me (happens frequently) I kite him with Piercing Howl or stun him with Intimidating Shout and wtfpwn him when I'm re-armed (in 1v1 situations, natch).

Good times last night Telva :) I had a great time even though we got wtfpwned in that match. You did do really well considering how much you just charged head-on into things. But if you charged in to a group of more than about 2 horde I just sorta layed low and tryed to defend the flag because you were asking for a death sentence >_<. Dont give up on PvP just yet, you must learn the ways of the PvP warrior from Hatchet!

Yeah Telva, most of PvP comes from experience. It takes a while to learn all the differences of how to play in PvP compared to PvE. If you really like doing PvP you should practice dueling more to get the hang of it :D

All the time...when i'm able to get on. On a serious note, i have a 4 mo. old so i don't usually get on until after he goes to bed (somewhere around 8-9 PM EST).
