Patch 1.1.2-to-1.2.1

I'm having trouble downloading the patch. It keeps disconnecting, going at very slow speeds (lower 6 kbps). Telling me I have a firewall up when I disable it and whatnot. It didn't do this with the other patches.

Any suggestions?

It's been about twenty now, still moving along, alittle faster now. I've opened and closed the download twice now. It's about 15% done now.


-EDIT- AHHH! Why the hell don't you go faster you piece of shit downloader! Holy crap! I started it at six thirty and it's been three hours! It's only 39.37 Mb! And it stoped at 93%! WTF!

Actually, the new patch has a kickarse feature. Now, if you die and your party kills a quest mob, you can rez and still get the loot! That's how all of us luzars got Tharil'Zun's head last night.

If you look at there FAQ on the downloads theres set up you can do in the router to forward the correct ports to your PC< I did that and it sped it up big time.

Screw all that. That's why I haven't played in 2 nights is because the dam patch keeps screwing up. Why can't you just download the fucking patch as one file and the run the thing off your harddrive. Seems it would be much nicer that way.

The reason, mighty, is it would be just as bad. The warcraft clienty thing is peer to peer, although for the fucking life of me I don't understand why it can't scream like bittorrent does. Any site that had a file that many peepz needed would get hammered to oblivion.

also Keeper if you want to game with us get the hell in there we need another priest. We are all about 23rd level atm, but there is room for another seed group of 13-18 playaz.

I did see a like on the WOW message board where you could just download the whole patch.

Also I see there is a file in my directory, which is the executable for the patch. However, it=big so hosting here on the site would be a bit difficult.

If you post here you're still having trouble I'll arj it into 4 pieces or so and mail, but I think if you peepz are patient it'll download. Also I advocate correctly setting up routers in all instances so RTFM.
