25-Man Ulduar Cleared - 19 Nights of Raiding

Well, Yogg probably took us longer than he should have, but a big congratulations out to the HotC raid crew for clearing Ulduar-25 last night.
We spent about 18-19 raid nights in Ulduar total, averaging 4 hours / night, for 76 hours to kill Yogg Saron.
That's not too shabby, in fact I'll bet it competes with some of the best on the server in terms of overall time spent!
Either way, the kill itself was a near-flawless thing, and showed a lot of our hard work coming together.
We're now able to rather manageably clear Ulduar in 4 hours, so we'll be dedicating the other 4 hours of our raids each week going forward to learning hard modes and getting the place on "hard mode farm" before too long perhaps 
Hard work lies ahead (all puns intended), and new content eventually as well.

Illidan Down!

HotC downed Illidan a couple weeks ago, now.

We're now consolidating our gains, finishing up some more gear-up, and beginning to ponder how far we can get into Sunwell Plateau before WotLK announcement murders raiding interest

HotC - Working on Illidan, Beginning to Think About Wrath

Welcome to the Home Page of The Lone Star Command, an 8 year old gaming organization founded by MVB in Homeworld, in February 2000.
TLSC's current primary activity is in World of Warcraft, where a group of around 50-60 regular players and many more irregular players participate in the Alliance guild Heroes of the Command, on Dalaran Server.
Currently, HotC is working on Illidan in Black Temple. We've downed all bosses prior to him, including Archimonde in Mount Hyjal.
We hope to down Illidan soon, and take some steps into Sunwell Plateau as Wrath of the Lich King draws near.
Meanwhile, the guild's seen huge successes in our new banking program, accumulating 12,000g and many times that in raid materials and other valuables. This is after only a week in operation. Theroc, spearheading the effort, aims to bring the guild bank well over and past the 100,000g mark going into July and beyond.
HotC continues as one of Dalaran's most stable raid guilds, operating with consistency over 3.5 years, since December 2004. We look forward to a future of raiding and playing together in WoW and beyond.
